Hotel Horizonte

Pros: After two days of cold accommodation in Cusco, the conditions here are simply amazing. It takes about 3-5 minutes to walk from the boarding location. I walked over from the hydroelectric power station, there's no need to walk to the train station. I think the best two points are: 1, The shower water is very hot and rushing. This is very important for clearing fatigue. 2, For this price range, breakfast is very plentiful. Although some people have mentioned being close to the river and hearing the sound of rolling water, I, who am sensitive to sound, may not have considered it a problem because I was too tired to walk over.

Pros: The location is perfect for leaving in the morning to go to Machu Picchu, it’s just 3 minutes away from the bus station that brings you there, which is very convenient if you leave early in the morning

Pros: Provided breakfast box as we had 6am Booking to Machu Pichu Procided bags storage so we were bony bag burdened.

Beautiful location & comfy stay!

Pros: We only stayed one night for Machu Picchu but it was beautiful, good location, the sound of the water is so peaceful right outside the window, clean & comfy.

Cons: No issues during our stay.

Gorgeous location & views

Pros: I really loved the location, its next to the river and you fall asleep listening to the river flowing. The staff was nice, I got a free room upgrade and they let me keep my backpack during the hike. There was hot water, and I got a hairdryer upon request. 10/10

Cons: Breakfast could use some improvement, especially because everyone is going on a hike. I was surprised there was no palta/avocado

Amazing views of the river

Pros: Gorgeous view of the river and mountains from the premium room on the 4th floor - highly recommended! Plus the early breakfast start time was very helpful.

Pros: Comfy bed, clean, we liked the private bathroom, okay breakfast

Cons: Shower wasn't really hot. A bit isolated from the rest, and right next to the river so quite loud.

Budget Hotel, good value

Pros: Decent location, friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, breakfast was decent. Good value for money.

Cons: Low water pressure in shower and water was not very warm. Bathroom was very small.
