Neat and cozy hotel in Aguas Calientes!

Pros: Comfy and spacious room. Good size bathroom. Right next to the river. Good views!

A quick one but very comfortable and glad I chose this hotel

Pros: Clean, comfortable and an excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The complementary luggage hold was so helpful and the offer of a shower to warm up after Machu Picchu (and after I had checked out) was life saving. I was so grateful for that.

Cons: In terms of added amenities (gym, pool etc) for the price I would perhaps have liked that. I understand that the location makes that hard though.

Good hotel with superb restaurant.

Pros: Good hotel with superb restaurant. They were very helpful and flexible with preparing portable breakfast, as we left for Machu Picchu before the breakfast officially began. They also have an extra room where you can stay even though you checked out of your room, in case your train leaves later.

Cons: The river outside can be extremely loud and the glass door isn’t filtering out all the noise. Luckily it’s white noise and consistant, so we had a good sleep anyways.

Perfect stay

Pros: Perfect location and the staff are amazing, really helpful and accommodating. You can hear the water at night which is really cool. Very short walk to the bus station and from the train station.

A lovely stay at this beautiful hotel

Pros: Room was absolutely superb with a beautiful view of the river. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Detox water was great in reception and loved the home cooked breads.

Cons: Staff could perhaps take more initiative in finding solutions to guest's wishes. Room service food was not the best. Service sometimes needed prompting.

Living the (Tierra) Viva!

Pros: Location, balcony, view of the river & mountains. Modern & comfortable but still Peruvian. A local chain hotel. Very kind staff, early breakfasts, close to the train & bus & restaurants. Ideal for Machu Picchu.

Cons: Nothing. It was great.
