Lovely people, great location!

Pros: Lovely stay - just what we needed for an overnight stay when visiting Machu Picchu. Good location and staff are wonderful! Picked us up from the train station and guided us back to the hotel. Always available and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Cons: Not much. We had the option of a room with a window/balcony (which would have been loud) or a room at the back with no window. We chose the quiet room so we could sleep early, but it was dark. Not much of an issue and we were given options.

A wonderful stay

Pros: Great mountain view, convenient location (2 minutes by walk to the bus stop to Machu Picchu), friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast.

Great location, clean and comfortable

Pros: Great location, bus to machu picchu around the corner. Lots of places to eat right outside the hotel.

Cons: Rooms were small.

Pros: Clean, convenient and really helpful and nice staff. The restaurant attached was lovely

Pros: The staff was great, and location was easy to find in the center of town.

Cons: It is near the train tracks which we didn't mind and knew we'd hear the train, however the noise within the building wasn't expected. We could hear a pin drop outside our room. Guests were loud coming in and out and the sound was not muffled.

Comfortable stay

Pros: Good location, easy walking round Agua Calientes. Great restaurant, Ponchos, on the ground floor with incredible food and service.

Cons: Trains running through the street most of the night outside the hotel. But after the first night we were used to it

Pros: Good location close to train station and bus stop for Maccu Picchu. Excellent breakfast.

Cons: Could be noisy from the restaurant music downstairs.

Short but epic, special should out to Sonia who made us feel so welcome & helped fully - perfect!

Pros: This hotel was in an ideal location bang in the centre and close to all the town. The staff were amazing, a special shout out to Sonia who was amazing, such a kind person who was there just when we needed help after a long journey to get to Machu Picchu. Sonia gave us help and advice as well as several bottles of water which were much needed after a long trek from our base. The property is clean, nicely decorated and everything you need ahead of the adventure of a liftime, thank you Sonia & Rock Rivers team.

Cons: Nothing it was all great, if you stay here you'll be sure of a warm welcome and a nicely furnished clean room with everything that you could possibly need!

Pros: Clean & very comfortable room - very positive experience after some dissapointments in Peru. Rockrivers MachuPicchu was a pleasant surprise

Pros: We had a very good stay at Rock Rivers. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with a good and tasty breakfast to start the day before heading to Machu Picchu. The staff (especially Angela) were very kind and helpful, and check-in/check-out were easy. The location is convenient, at the heart of Aguas Calientes, close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu. Rooms are simple but well-equipped, and everything worked smoothly. A great choice for a short stay before and/or after visiting the citadel. We also recommend the restaurant of the hotel, Ponchos. Very tasty dishes and great service.
