Pros: Good value for little money in Aguas Calientes. The staff is cool, friendly and helfpul. Room and bed were good, standard like in all of Perú. Hot shower and fast wifi, recommended for this price! We saw a tiny piece of Machu Picchu terraces from our window, which is unique view in all of the town!

Pros: I would like to thank the reception staff — very kind and helpful people. They assisted with everything and were always smiling. One of the receptionists explained in detail the different routes and circuits at Machu Picchu, answered all my questions, and was very attentive. Breakfast can be ordered early in the morning, which was very convenient before the trip. Excellent service and genuine care for guests — thank you so much! 🌿

Nice views
Pros: I love the views from the room and the kindness overall.
Cons: We didn’t get enough blankets to keep us warm at night, we got really cold.

Pros: Very nice hostess, we came way early and were planning our next steps after Machu Picchu in the communal space (with a great view) when she told us she had just finished prepared our room. ♥️ Leaving backpacks at the reception is no problem. The hostel really has the spirit of a family run business.
Cons: The steps 🤣 ...but don't worry, they are less than up to Machu Picchu and good training

Pros: The cheapest place we could find in Aguas Calientes by far. So for that, it was a good place to stay. The owners were nice and the beds comfortable
Cons: The rooms have no airflow at all and get very humid, wet and mouldy. The bathroom window being taped shut also doesn’t help Also, just be aware, the hostel is up a flight of 106 stairs. This shouldn’t be a problem l, but FYI

Best view in Aguas Calientes.
Pros: The hostel is localised on a slope of a mountain surrouding Aguas Calientes which grants you a perfect view of the town and mountains covered with cloud forest. The staff was very helpful and nice. You can have a good breakfast as early as 4 a.m. which is very convenient if you want to climb to Machu Picchu in the morning.
Cons: You have to climb to get to hostel and there is no elevator inside (for us it wasnt a problem). Our room could use some renovation due to prolonged exposure to moist climate of this region.

Pros: This place has very comfortable rooms with great views. It is super centrally located. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked, and it has a very cool vibe.
Cons: Be prepared for a grueling stair climb to get there. It was very damp in the room.
