Great location and friendly staff

Pros: The location is perfect - close to restaurants, shops, the railway line runs right past the hotel!

Cons: The TV didn't work

The in keeper was extremely nice and helpful

Pros: We got a packet breakfast because of our early start of the day. It was a nice service.

Cons: The lobby was under construction and unclean.

A very comfortable stay in a central location

Pros: The staff were incredible. The owner is amazing, kind and so welcoming. She picked us up from the train station & took us straight to the ministry to get tickets to Machu Picchu. She also prepared us breakfast every morning. The hotels location is right on the river & pretty central in the town! A very comfortable stay for 3 nights!

Super service in a great location

Pros: Super service from a very accommodating owners team Perfect location on Urubamba River - the top deck view on sunrise is very special

Pros: It's just a stock standard 2 star hotel. Decent size room and the hot water was good. Very close to town centre and you get a view from your room of the flowing river. The customer service is good

Cons: The breakfast needs a bit more variety

Perfect for a stay when you’re here for Machu Picchu, all the facilities you need. Comfortable and clean

Pros: Near to everything we needed for Machu Picchu, comfortable beds and good shower for when you come back, you don’t need anything else. They also facilitated laundry which we really needed. Kittens were lovely bonus too

Pros: The staff were amazing. I was prepared huge breakfast box as I was leaving early. The lady even walk with me to show me where the bus station was. And I was awaited with the sign at the train station upon my arrival. Very lovely staff.

Cons: The room was a little outdated. Very nice view however a bit noisy due to river just below the windows.

Amazing owners

Pros: A simple stay, which I chose because it is dog-friendly and doesn’t require one to check out at 9 am. This way, we could visit the MP at 7 am and be back at noon to pick up my dog. The staff were incredibly accommodating and nice, they checked in on my dog and sent updates. I could not recommend them more in case you are travelling with your dog.

We would recommend because of very helpful staff

Pros: The lady at the reception was extremely nice. She waited for us at the train station which is right outside the hostel (perfect location, and as the trains don't go at night, we didn't have a problem with sleeping). Then she explained in detail how we will get to Machu Picchu the next day and what time we should go, and some extra details that were very helpful. She prepared lunchbox for us for the tour next day, and she let us leave our luggages at the hostel until our train left in the evening. The room was okay, bed was comfortable and she provided a hairdryer too.

Cons: Bathroom wasn't too comfortable...nowhere to put things, the small holder on the wall was hanging. Water was going out the shower and we couldn't close the small window. But overall it was a good choice as it was only one night.
