Perfect location & lovely staff

Pros: The room was super comfortable and clean. Location is perfect - right next to the main square. The staff was kind enough to let me leave my luggage the next day free of charge. They also accommodated my wish to change the reservation dates. Lovely people and perfect location

Cons: Bare in mind that most rooms only have windows that are facing the inner courtyard/hallway. So if you want to have natural light in the room you will be exposed to everyone who is passing through your floor.

Pros: Amazing location. Staff were very welcoming and helpful giving us advice about how to manage altitude sickness. Without asking they offered an early snack before out hike. Breakfast was amazing.

Cons: Rooms were clean but a little basic. We noted renovations at the time of our stay so likely better rooms are around the corner!

Pros: Good value simple accommodation, central Location. Very friendly helpful staff

Cons: Some furnishings are quite dated

The perfect stay in central Cusco

Pros: The check-in was amazing. Very informative and friendly. They provided free drinkable water and coca tea. Nice common areas as well.

Cons: I was a bit unlucky to time a reconstruction of the place, so it was a bit noisy. But they offered ear plugs to deal with it.

Very kind staff at a cosy hotel in Cusco

Pros: Lovely stay in Cusco! Kenia who checked me in was so kind and provided all the information that I needed. The room was comfortable and cosy and the hotel even let me store my luggage while I went on the Inka Trail hike. Definitely recommend!

Cons: Bathroom could have been a bit bigger but it wasn’t a problem :)

Pros: Fantastic attentive staff. Offered us an early breakfast before our trek. Staff also were very warm and helpful.

Pros: I had the best stay at Posada del Viajero. The staff really could not have been more accommodating. They answered my detailed questions about travel and tours weeks before I arrived on Whatsapp, and when I arrived were so genuinely kind, friendly and helpful. I got altitude sickness badly while I was in Cusco, and they gave me so much help, care and attention. I will always be grateful to them for looking after me so well when I was sick (especially Kenia – thank you), as it was a difficult situation especially as a solo traveller. They pay attention to the smallest details to make guests feel comfortable and at home. Highly recommend them, and hope to return one day!

Pros: Excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from the main square. The staff were extremely nice — always ready to help with anything I needed. Very caring, supportive, and kind throughout my stay.
