Perfect location, premium staff, highly recommend!

Pros: The room was beautifully arranged, and the rustic style felt like a dream. The views of the Plaza de Armas were mesmerising, both day and night. The breakfast was delicious, and the lady in charge went the extra mile to satisfy any cravings we had. The location was fantastic, with attractions nearby. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: It may be unrealistic, but due to the altitude, we would have loved the hotel to have an elevator, especially with luggage.

Pros: Spacious, comfortable, clean & tidy. Great location and view.

Cons: Noise from other rooms, but fine with earplugs.

Superb location, clean and comfortable

Pros: The location on the main square is superb, the bed was comfy but a little small, the rooms were very clean , I was able to get a hairdryer from the reception

Beautiful

Pros: Book the room with a balcony and a view of the square and you will be absolutely delighted! Just watching what’s going on in the square is so much fun, the room was also huge and spotless, and the breakfast yummy. The staff are fabulous. The room is gorgeous but the central location makes your exploration of Cusco so much easier! We walked up the artsy street to the top - I think to Plaza San Blas, it seemed most don’t go quite that far up the street, but there’s a wonderful shop in the plaza where beautiful ceramics are a third of the price to the lower note touristy area. After shopping we then went down the hill and rested back in our fabulous room with a view. Then off to the market in the opposite direction, came back to our room and rested again, a couple more hours of exploration in different directions and resting and then dinner at the delicious Kusykay restaurant (a 1 minute walk away). A perfect first stay in beautiful Cusco. We will definitely be back and stay longer.

Another splendid stay at El Virrey

Pros: The best hotel view in Cusco? Probably. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The panoramic suite is comfortable and spacious for an extended stay. Copious hot water, and a decent spread for breakfast. We've stayed here several times before and are happy to report that we still love it. We will be back on our next visit to Cusco.
