Good value for money, welcoming staff.

Pros: Great breakfast, clean and very nice location. The Lodge is located next to the river, with mountain views, that's just super enchanting.

Cons: Sewage smell in the bathroom, perhaps due to a temporary issue. It took a while to take the water to heat.

Pros: This is very good value for money. The staff were helpful and made breakfast each morning. You can walk to the main square, it’s a bit further walk to the train station but still a flat easy walk. We were on the road side which was a little noisey and was connected to an unfinished part of the building however for what we paid we have no complaints.

Sara Garden Lodge - a piece of tranquil heaven

Pros: The Lodge and town were so peaceful and a welcome respite from the business of Cusco. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast that was prepared at Sara Garden Lodge was the best that we had during our entire trip

Cons: Our stay there was too short, would have loved to been able to stay longer

Pros: The room was great, the location next to the river was fantastic. Breakfast was also nice.

Cons: The water in the shower was only lukewarm. They tried to charge us the booking.com commission, so we had to argue for a while until we paid the actual price.

Pros: Beautiful location close to the river, good shower, free tea all day, and very helpful staff/owner for helping us organize a private tour of the surroundings! Highly recommended.

Wonderful

Pros: The staff were great and accommodating despite a bit of a language barrier. We were able to get a packed breakfast one day. The regular breakfast window is only two hours and it is a set breakfast (not buffet) so it does take some time. But the breakfast was great with eggs! Portable heater and hair dryer are available upon request but we found we didnt require the heater...just bring warm pajamas! The rooms were a good size and clean. There are dogs barking nearby but road noise and noise from the river did not bother us. It is about a 7 min walk from the centre. You can take a tuk tuk/mototaxi too as they are everywhere.

Pros: The mountain view, the sound of the river in the room... It was amazing; furthermore, he atmosphere is charming, I'd definetly repeat. To sum up, breakfast is tasty, room is comfortable and Jessica is an adorable employee.

Cons: Just you have to pay +5% by card.

Pros: The location is mind-blowing. Staff are the most wonderful humans on earth. The place is suitable for everyone. Prices are the most reasonable.

The location and its surroundings was more than words can describe!

Pros: The front desk attendant always had our best interest! He helped us find a private taxi to take us around, and was also the lodge's honorary chef! Each morning he made our breakfast, which was fulfilling for our big days ahead!

Cons: The water system was a great in the beginning but towards the end, we just had no more water coming out of the drains, we couldn't even flush :/
