Lovely space in a lovely village. Great breakfast and wifi!
Pros: The view from the room was great looking onto the Inca site. Very clean and comfy with good WiFi in the room. Breakfast was delicious - eggs, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice and coffee, in addition to the usual bread and jam.
Cons: There was no secure bag storage, although we left them in the lobby. The hallway light can be bright at night so bring an eye mask.

Great views and comfortable bed
Pros: Great location, 10 minutes walk a bit uphill from the train. Magnificent view of the ruins. Clean sheets and lots of comfortable pillows, extra blanket in the closet in case I got cold. Strong wifi I was able to work with a Zoom call. I arrived late around 10:40pm, I called and they let me in, be sure to get their WhatsApp. Only Spanish but we did okay understanding and the staff were kind.
Cons: Breakfast small, only fruits, bread, and drink. Shower warm but not hot. Children sometimes trying to come into the room. Only one electrical plug for use, I suggest to put in a power strip.

Lovely family run accommodation
Pros: For the price, this was excellent. Family run, friendly staff, could leave our bags. Great location - Views of the ruins from our room! Breakfast was also great.
Cons: Shower water could have been hotter but otherwise everything was perfect

Pros: Erica is a star lady! We had some miscommunication and reached our hotel a day prior, so instantly helped us with a stay at her friend’ property which was equally amazing! Great breakfast and quite hospitable! Location is sick… Everything right there…
Cons: Everything was great

Pros: Good location with walking distance to train station as well as the city centre. Beautiful view from the room looking at a historical site. Good breakfast with scrambled eggs, fruits, buns with jam and butter, coffee, and fruit juice.
Cons: Someone started banging on our door around 1am in the morning looking for her passport which was left in our room. We let the woman and the receptionist come in and take it thinking it was because of a flight she was late for. But next morning we saw her slowly walking out of the hostel around 8am, which was very funny to see. But it was very uncomfortable and unprofessional, we went there for a good rest after the four day inka trail and our sleep was interrupted. Not happy about it.

Great little hotel in top location and excellent value
Pros: Amazing value. Really well located on the same street as the train station and right around the corner from the main plaza. Room was a great size with great hot shower. Beautiful view of the mountains. We left bags here while we did our MP trek.
Cons: Staff were not at reception at all times, but responded quickly.

Pros: The staff were super friendly. The room was spotless and the location was perfect. We even had views of the ruins. Also be prepared for a terrific breakfast. Lastly they stored our bags for us while we went to Machu Picchu for two days.
Cons: For those that have issues with stairs, this might not be the hotel for you.. The stairs are steep. Not an issue for me but this is a family run hotel and expect to have several kids lounging around in reception.
