Superb place and worth the extra effort to get there

Pros: The food was not as good as anticipated and there were not many options for between meal snacks

Cons: The food - although the breakfast was great. The spa costs were too high

A magical stay in a breathtaking location

Pros: magical stay in a breathtaking loc Liked · The staff were wonderful, the gardens exquisite ,watching the hummingbirds from our veranda was out of this world the views of the mountains the sound of the river , the food was delicious, the cabin tents were so beautifully designed everything about the stay was perfect , the walk into town along the river , the wonderful breakfast, We also had a massage and an Agua treatment both of which would rival anything we have had in London , sitting in the hot tub looking at the mountains was fabulous one of the most breathtaking places we have ever stayed

Cons: Would have been nice to have comfy chairs inside by the log fire instead of hard bench also some coat hooks and better hooks in bathroom for towels

Pros: Beautiful accommodation with comfortable bed. we had massages, which were wonderful, plus used the sauna and spa. staff were delightful. The food was great! beautiful resort

Wow! A little piece of heaven.

Pros: Where do I start? The most beautiful gardens, tents in amazing condition, it’s sparkling clean, so peaceful yet close to town (they have shuttles). We had one meal and it was great.

Cons: Food and drinks pretty expensive- coffee was $7USD which is ridiculous for Peru. Need to pay extra to use the hot tub and the sauna. Those should be included in the rate. Would still come back in a heartbeat!

Pros: Amazing rooms, facilities, sauna, massage, breakfast and service. Everything was exceptional and I would highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone who loves nature and luxury.

Pros: The property is gorgeous and the little touches like the fire in the room is amazing!! The staff were lovely and very helpful and accommodating

A welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of town

Pros: Stunning setting in well maintained, attractive gardens. A lot of money has clearly been spent on the high quality ‘lodges’ and dining room. A fun hour was spent in the hot tub/sauna alongside the fast flowing river. Free shuttle service to this out of town location, though we did enjoy a downhill, 30 minute stroll into the centre.

Cons: The menu didn’t have enough vegetarian choices and the dishes were quite pricey. We went at the end of the rainy season so the beautiful river was in full flow - unfortunately the noise did keep us awake at night. Other guests may find it soothing!
