Hotel Samanapaq

Nice location within walking distance to Ollantaytambo train station in the center of the town.

Pros: The hotel has beautiful garden, full of nicely smelling flours. Breakfast is good, the staff is polite. They have a parking space on the courtyard and toll fence all over property, so it is quiet and peacefull.

Perfect hideway!!

Pros: The location is very handy and the courtyard is unbelievably quiet. The owner is brilliant and very helpful.

Excellent cozy place at Ollantaytambo.

Pros: Cozy and nice. Nice breakfast. Special shout out to the owner, Tula who is very helpful and chatty. She stored our luggage and got our laundry sorted while we were at Machu Picchu. Also, my sis forgot her important meds and she immediately sent the same all the way to cusco. N finally will miss my fav kitty, Nitty.

Cons: Nothing to not like. But a strange one, our twin room had a very nice heater but strangely my cousins double bed room didnt and on asking the girl at the reception, she said only some rooms have the heater. So maybe something to consider.

Relaxed and comfortable

Pros: Tula and her family are lovely, this is a family run place with loads of space to relax both in the garden and in the main livingroom. The breakfast was delicious too

Great place to stay when in Ollantaytambo

Pros: We had booked one room for four of us: two adults and two children. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Breakfast was good and we had a good choice of food. The staff were excellent as both reception staff and the kitchen lady were very helpful in providing us with information and making our stay comfortable.

Cons: We did not have an electric heater in our room on day 1 but we did on day 2. Other than that, our stay at this hotel was excellent.

Comfortable friendly choice in Ollyanta

Pros: Simple but comfortable room. Cozy on a chilly evening. Plesant garden and lounge area. A few minutes walk to restaurants. Friendly host.

Cons: No complaints!

A wonderful property

Pros: It's a lovely property in a very good location. We were so busy during our stay that we didn't have time to enjoy the gardens. The owner is helpful and so patient with my broken Spanish. Another employee who also works at the front desk speaks perfect English. The room was spacious and clean with a wonderful hot shower. The breakfast was very nice.

Cons: The breakfast room was sooo cold.

Quiet, cosy and short walking distance to main square

Pros: A Short walking distance from the main square. One of the staff speaks excellent English and was very helpful. Very quiet, lovely garden and cosy tea room area for guest use.

Pros: An oasis of calm in the busy town- good accommodation and beautiful gardens. Owner was charming, helpful and welcoming.
