LP Los Portales Hotel Cusco

Very nice hotel for Cusco, good location, friendly and helpful staff

Pros: + good location for visiting city and also good road access for going on trips + friendly and helpful staff + nice room, as described + good breakfast + filter water available near reception to refill bottles

Cons: - I was sent a link via the Booking app from this hotel to pay in advance, but said it wasn’t them when challenged by Booking customer services

Alright, but a few changes would have made it excellent

Pros: The breakfast quality was decent and the availability of tea at all hours was a nice touch.

Cons: The room was a incredibly warm and stuffy, the aircon unit was useless because it pumped warm air into the room at the back. The shower didnt drain very well.

perfect location --just in front of Qoricancha/ Also, it is flat walk to Plaza de Armas

Pros: oxygent tank --was delivered to the room in case of need. Very nice location. Stuff was super helpful and friendly! we stayed in 3 different hotels in Cusco --so far this was the best money-quality ratio!

Great location and delicious breakfast, but did not have air conditioning.

Pros: Delicious breakfast buffet with a selection of fresh juices, fruit, eggs, pancakes, etc. Comfortable bed and friendly staff. Great location.

Cons: The room did not have air conditioning, so we found that it got too warm which negatively impacted our sleep. They did provide a fan in the room which helped some, but overall still found it too warm.

Fantastic stay, close to the centre, the perfect Cusco base

Pros: Really amazing breakfast, fantastic and convenient laundry service (a god-send after the trekking for several days), and comfy cosy beds. Great showers + shower pressure and the staff were always extremely kind and helpful. You can fill your bottle up at the dispenser on the ground floor instead of constantly buying bottles of mineral water. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Cons: Kept getting knocked off the Wi-Fi, but otherwise it was perfect.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, polite and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing with great choices to choose from. It also had a great location. The sitting area in the middle added a little touch of comfort to the place. Overall, LP Los Portales, was a great, safe and comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended.

Pros: The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for a better service. Shout out to all the receptionists particularly Jim and Emilio who were superb at listening and responding to our needs. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Pros: The complete package, helpful staff, comfortable room, great restaurant, and perfect location.

Pros: The staff were terrific. The location was convenient, safe and close to so much. Great to have a full restaurant in the hotel and open late. Great food and prices. If using Inca rail the office for shuttle is directly across the street! Hotel store bags for us while we went to Machu Picchu for two days. Really is a fantastic stay.

Great location and elevator

Pros: 1. Good location - it’s opposite the Inca Rail bus drop-off point (crucial for me because I knew I would be exhausted when I arrive in Cusco) and close to Qorikancha 2. Rooms facing the courtyard may have food smell wafting into an open window but it is quiet 3. Elevators - crucial for post-Huayna Picchu muscle soreness (other hotels have stairs) 4. Fan is provided in the room 5. Water dispenser at the lobby
