Great location and service
Pros: This is an excellent choice with a great location and very friendly and attentive staff. On the days that I was able to take advantage of the breakfast, it was very good. The staff always checked in to see about my breakfast plans and notified me if the tour bus/van was outside waiting. They also were generous with recommendations and ideas of what to do around the city, and even offered to help with logistics if I needed it. The front desk was staffed 24/7 so checking in at almost midnight on a Sunday was no problem, and there was always someone there when I left for tours at 3 or 4am. I used the laundry service one time, which was reasonably priced and convenient. Since I speak Spanish, I don't know whether all of my interactions with the staff would have been quite as easy in English, but there were other guests who just spoke English, and they seemed to get along fine.
Cons: This hotel is a very good value for the money, but keep in mind that it is not a super high-end hotel, and you shouldn't expect it to have all of the amenities that you'd find in much more expensive hotels. There wasn't a big closet or anything, and the ventilation of the room was only through windows, so it could get a little humid after a long shower. The location is great, but when I was there, there was some noisy construction going on nearby during the day. That was only during the day when I was almost always gone, so it wasn't a big issue, but if you want to spend a lot of time in the hotel during the day, maybe somewhere further from the center would be better.

Lovely staff and facilities, would recommend!
Pros: Staff were incredibly friendly, had all the facilities you needed and was able to store my luggage and get breakfast to go, perfect!
Cons: Nothing, slightly further out than other hotels/hostels but uber is super cheap (less than £2) so it doesn’t

Good location and lovely staff.
Pros: Lovely staff, decent breakfast and good location. Hot water on each floor for drinks was welcome.
Cons: Water was never hot in the shower, some rooms have no external windows, no luggage stand in the rooms. We should have been warned about noise building work from next door.

Pros: It was clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly, they helped with everything we needed. Also even we stayed only one night they kept our luggage safe while we did the Salkantay Track. The room was big and very quiet.

Awesome stay at Cusco, lovely people
Pros: Fantastic stay in Cusco, I would like to recognise how nice and helpful was the staff, very kind and smily people. We also liked the breakfast, which was freshly cooked. Hotel and rooms is clean and cozy, with its own style. Location was good, 15-20 min walk to the Plaza De Armas, as well as train/bus station (for those who will go to MP).
Cons: There wasn’t ventilation in the bathroom, so after shower everything inside the bathroom gets really wet and slippery. Can be fixed by opening the window, but still takes time to dry out :)

Amazing stay in Cusco!!
Pros: This hotel is and feels like a family run hotel. The staff is unbelievable friendly, really warm and will assist you whenever needed. The rooms are clean and spacious, with a big firm bed with good pillows. I had some sickness but they were really helpful and understanding. Amazing!
Cons: We had some noise from the neighbors but this was a different building so not their fault. The warm-cold temperature in the shower is very delicate, goes from hot to cold with a flick of the regulator.

Pros: Amazing experience staying at Casa Matara Boutique! Everyone is going the extra mile to ensure that your stay goes smoothly and gets th best client experience. They took the time to recommend us places for dinner and the must-see of the city!! I highly recommend this hotel, it was very comfy!!
