Kutty Wasi

Very friendly staff and clean and comfortable stay.

Pros: We reserved this place for 4 nights and extended one extra night. There was an issue with our shower in our first room and the host moved us to another room with no issues. Kutty Wasi is a short walk to the plaza and a very central location. The room was cleaned every day and the hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was amazing every day with a range of options from fruit, cereals, toast, avocado, oats, coffee and tea, eggs, ham and cheese. I would highly recommend this place! All rooms have a kitchenette and fridge.

Great!

Pros: The view was really nice, the staff was also very helpful and kind. We were allowed to leave our luggage until we were back from Machupicchu for free, even if we were not spending the night after that. The hotel is very beautiful.

Cons: The breakfast was a bit poor, we were expecting a bit more staff.

Pros: The friendly staff. Although none of the staff could speak English, they were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate all our request. The hotel is quite high in the San Blas area so difficult for tour pick ups to get too and also cabs to drive however the view of Cusco is amazing and beautiful especially in the evenings. Apartments were large and spacious. We did have hot water for evening showers, just the water pressure isn't great.

Cons: Breakfast was relatively basic so we really didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. As mentioned, the hotel is quite high in the San Blas area so difficult for tour pick ups but you just need to arrange pick at a nearby location, although getting to the hotel with a bunch of luggage was a bit of challenge, especially with the altitude. Water pressure is okay but at least you have hot water. The bed covers are very synthetics so they didn't feel great and would often fall of the bed.

Pros: The location was great and although it was no possible to reach the property by car it had easy access to the city center. The staff was super nice and we were able to leave our extra bags before departing for the Inca Trail.

Cons: Breakfast could have been better, it was too basic.

Pros: All very good at the property, but breakfast was very basic. The area was quiet and although not accessible by car it was easy to move around the area.

Kutty Wasi

Pros: San blas is a great area with loads of good restaurant’s. It is quiet but only 8 minutes walk into the main square. It brings you out at paddy bar.

Cons: It is up quite a steep hill . If you have trouble with assents then this will be difficult . This should be mentioned . When you first get there if not used to the increased altitude then it will be difficult the first few times .

Calm stay in Cusco

Pros: Beautiful terrace with panoramic view of the city, large rooms with a lot of light, super quiet and artistic location. Would come here again!

They are the nicest people

Pros: It is a lovely room. They are the nicest people, but It is very high up and I just had trouble coping with all the steps. Mist people would not but I did. Breakfast basic but nice. They call you safe driver. No airconditioner for heating and my feet froze first night running to the bathroom.

Pros: Excellent location, the room has everything you need and the views are stunning. Our laundry was organized and assistance was given freely and we were allowed to store our baggage.

Cons: The shower has little pressure with a small stream if water, if you open the tap the water goes cold. We only realized this on our 3rd visit as this was our base.

Pros: The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and spacious. The apartment was cleaned most days. The view from breakfast and the terrace was lovely. Breakfast was great with a nice variety.

Cons: You’re not given a key for the front door so you have to knock every time you want to enter. The door was always opened quickly but it is still slightly inconvenient. The power occasionally went off.
