Hidden Gem in Ollantaytambo!

Pros: The beautiful house offers a large common room with comfortable sofas and a wonderful view of the large garden and surrounding mountains. The stylishly furnished room (free upgrade) was very spacious and had a large bathroom and a comfortable sofa. I slept very well in the large bed. The host prepared a very rich and fresh breakfast tailored to individual preferences. The host was also helpful in organising activities in the area and gave some tips. Casafranca was by far the best accommodation of my entire trip through Peru. Highly recommended.

Tranquil location close to Ollantaytambo

Pros: The location, and property itself are stunning. The views from the large windows are to the mountains and the interior is finished to a modern and very high standard. Very tranquil all in all. Although the property is located out of town, Vanesa was happy to give us a lift when required. Breakfast was to an excellent standard providing a selection of good food which set us up for the day.

Wonderful place for the Sacred Valley

Pros: The setting of the house, set in the Sacred Valley surrounded by mountains is superb. The room we had was huge, with massive windows giving us the view of the mountains opposite...quite superb. We chose to stay here for our first 5 nights in Peru, to acclimatise to the altitude (Ollantaytambo is quite a bit lower than Cusco for instance) and to get into the swing of things in a quieter environment. Also, of course there is the direct train to Macchu Piccu from here! Vanessa was a wonderful host and she provided us not only with a beautiful breakfast each day, she was kind enough to transport us to and from the town which was a real bonus. If it wasn't for her doing this then it could have been a bit of a pain getting in and out of town. We loved the whole area, the village is probably the nicest we saw in our 4 week stay in Peru and there was lots for us to see and do. This is a beautiful place to stay in the Sacred Valley!

Cons: The WI-FI wasn't great but it was OK and we were able to manage. Vanessa Is aware of this but I think it's no show stopper and it's sometimes just nice to be away from the usual modern stuff. The room probably could have been furnished a bit more as it looked a little sparse.

Extraordinary stay with views

Pros: Clean, modern, calm and simply beautiful - this all mixed with huge hospitality from the host, who can help with every thing, from buying tickets to sites, to getting you into the city center or train to Machu Picchu. Oh, I forgot to mention delicious breakfast!

Cons: Everything was absolutely perfect!

Great stay at Casafranca :)

Pros: I spent 5 days in Casafranca. This place is something special. The rooms are large and nicely furnished, everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was the best I had on my whole trip to Peru, including homemade jam and granola. Vanessa is an excellent host. She helps in all matters. Her recommendations (restaurants and other) had been excellent. It is not a problem that Casafranca is not in the centre. Vanessa makes sure that you can get to the centre at any time. She took me to the first train to Aquas Calientes at 4.30 in the morning. I would stay at Casafranca again at any time!

Pros: La maison et le jardin sont magnifique! La chambre est immense et ay standard d hotels de luxe. Vanessa est aux petits soins pour que le sojourn se déroule au mieux , on a passé un super moment et on recommande

Cons: Un peu loin du centre mais Vanessa se propose volontiers de nous emmener en voiture ou de payer un taxi!

Allez-y sans hésiter!

Pros: Vanessa a été une hotesse extraordinaire, toujours à l'écoute et elle nous a beauoup aidé par ses informations et suggestions. L'appartement est magnifique et confortable, a 15-20 minutes a pied du village, sur une route securitaire loin de l'agitation du village. Vous pouvez aussi demandé un transport a Vanessa, elle est là pour vous. Le déjeuner est exceptionnel, le meilleur à date. J'y retournerais sans hésitation et je la recommande fortement.

Cons: rien

Estadia confortável

Pros: Quarto muito grande, cama muito grande e muito confortável, vista bonita da montanha . Vanessa nos atendeu muito bem e está sempre disposta a levar os hóspedes para o centro no seu carro.

Cons: Localização um pouco longe do centro, mas como Vanessa sempre está disposta a nos levar não é um problema. O chuveiro é fraco em relação a pressão de água. A internet é muito ruim, não funciona nos quartos.

Best place we stayed out of 7 different locations in Peru

Pros: The place is amazing! Fantastic view and room is beautiful! Vanesa is the best host we ever had!

Cons: It is a bit hard to get to.

Pros: Las habitaciones amplias y acogedoras, linda decoración, lindas vistas. Además Vanessa es súper amable y pendiente de cualquier necesidad. Buenisimo desayuno.
