Pros: Location was central, bed was comfortable, staff were helpful and there was always one available who spoke English. Nice street food right at the door at night time. Hot showers

Pros: Location, very helpful and friendly staff, decent size rooms, warm water in the showers (which is not standard btw)

Cons: Room was a little cold, because there was no heating, otherwise no complaints

Cons: You can hear noise from a bakery early in the morning which is located on the lower level of building. But as most people get up early for Machu Picchu it was ok. Unfortunately, we had to suffer through noisey guests who were talking and banging doors at 1:30am, no respect for others. I wish the reception would of said something to them 🙉

Pros: Very nice and comfortable room, hot water, after check out we could leave our backpacks in the hotel

Cons: Noisy street in the night, 5 usd for breakfast was too much, very poor breakfast

Basic Accommodation in Good Location

Pros: Basic clean accommodation. Good location close to train station with many shops/restaurants close by. Offered Luggage Storage after check-out (while we went back up to Machu Picchu).

Cons: Did not respond to any of our messages or emails prior to arrival. Stairs up to rooms would not suit those with health issues. Cold shower first morning at 5am - although it was fine from then on in.

Pros: Lovely people who run the show. Beds were exceptionally comfortable, which after a long day was priceless. Location is ideal, super central, great view of the area. Highly reccomend for the budget conscious traveler.

Pros: Great location, nice clean and comfortable stay and it was really nice that we could freely store our baggages while we hiked Machu Pichu and get them back later in the evening!
