Very pleasant, wonderful staff

Pros: Good looking hotel, great room, wonderful, helpful staff. Good location.

Cons: Would have liked a pool & gym

Pros: Loved the hotel common areas and food. Excellent location and property

Cons: The rooms are very small and size of match box. But I guess no one spends time in the room here

A three nights stay (that could have been shorted to two) to have several rounds of the Machu Picchu

Pros: The property is located on the heart of Aguas Calientes a few steps away from the train station and the bus station to go to the Machu Picchu site. We opted for an upgrade for a suite (50 USD a night) that gave us one hour of private Spa. Staff is welcoming and very helpful (one from the reception took me to the office of the transportation service to buy the tickets to go to the Machu Picchu site). Food for breakfast and dinner was good (albeit the set menu remains the same for the three nights of our stay).

Cons: The hotel is hosting groups and hence is very loud, particularly in the restaurant both at breakfast and diner. While we were supposed to enjoy a one-hour private spa we at the surprise to find the previous users who did not leave as scheduled. Instead since they did not show any sign to leave we left the facility. It is shocking that staff does not enforce the rules when uneducated clients do not respect them. A last word on the laundry service, quite expensive when you considered that you did not received folded or ironed, just washed in the same bag that was used for pick up.

Pros: Great location, rooms were a bit on the basic side (cheap chic) but comfortable.

Cons: Showers could have been better designed w trays to place toiletries. Toilet seat was loose and wobbly... Better attention to details needed

Excellent Stay

Pros: The location was excellent, close to the train station and the buses going to Machu Picchu. The rooms were comfortable, and i slept very well. I had the half-board rate which included dinner - which had great options. Breakfast was also good. It get a bit busy when there are groups, but nothing a little patience can’t resolve. i had 5 hrs wait for my train back to Cusco, so I booked a massage and made use of the spa - best use of time.

Great value for money, Inkaterra hospitality

Pros: A brand new hotel 7 minutes from the train station and 3 minutes from the bus stop. We didn’t expect a very nice dinner to be included to the room price besides the breakfast. Also, they meet you at the station and if you need to leave luggage at the storage, they can bring it right to the station too. Staff overall was very nice and helpful.

Cons: Breakfast is in the restaurant outside and early in the morning everything would get cold right away.

Pros: Miriam on reception was a superstar. She walked with us to the govt building and bus office to finalise our MP booking. Without her help we may have missed the experience of a lifetime. Thankyou for your help

Cons: Only criticism - Dinner was OK but service a little slow. Ordered coffee and ended up eating pudding and waiting too long!

Great spot to stay when going to Machu Picchu

Pros: The location was great, hotel was modern and it was nice to have meals included. Dinner and breakfast had many options and all that we ordered was very good. We were able to check our luggage for the day while we visited Machu Picchu with no problems.

Cons: The mattress wasn’t great and noise outside was a lot while we were trying to fall asleep.

Pros: Hotel situated at the heart of the city, steps from the train station and bus stop. Plenty of restaurants, café and massage place around the hotel area.

Cons: It's a busy hotel, guest going in and out all the time so 'noise'

Pros: Fantastic breakfast selection, and the inclusion evening meal was top notch.

Cons: Nothing that the hotel can control. There is some noise from the street, but that’s the nature of MachuPicchu Puebla. Ignore the negative comments and scores, this hotel is great.
