Excellent hotel - very comfortable - good quality for the area

Pros: The location on the river is excellent. Great service and Dianna was so helpful Considering the remote location with no chains and all local hotel operators - this hotel in my opinion is very high standard and good quality for the region. Very comfortable room - bedding and pillows. River view room feels very dramatic with the rainy season and gushing river below. The noise of the Robert is strangely calming and helps you get to sleep.

Great stay for a quick trip!

Pros: Excellent staff - super welcoming, even in your way out. Great location.

Cons: Nobody showed up to pick us up (as promised) but it’s literally 5 minutes walking from the train station when you arrive. A tad expensive, but then all are in this little town.

Pros: The hotel service was excellent, the location was superb, and it was very safe.

A lovely and memorable stay

Pros: Amazing location, right in the centre of aguas calientes. Lovely spacious rooms with extremely comfortable beds. The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was great. They even allowed us to take a takeaway breakfast to Machu Picchu at 5am. Highly recommend

Cons: The jacuzzi was out of use

Inca Interest.

Pros: Location. Scenery, room, bed, breakfast all superb. Very accessible to Machu Pichu bus pick ups. Practically on station platform, overlooking impressive river at rear. Close to all shops, restaurants and fabulous little mountain town.

Cons: Difficult to get cake with afternoon coffee! 😄

Our stay at Casa del Sol was absolutely amazing!

Pros: The team was incredible, so kind, professional, and genuinely caring. They even upgraded us to a stunning room with a jacuzzi and an unforgettable view over the river. Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was magical. Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel.

Pros: Excellent location with beautiful view of the river. Nice breakfast. Lovely rooms.

Cons: We went to look at the spa area but it wasn’t very inviting, only person there was doing the laundry.

Pros: The manager is really dedicated. The place is nice and comfortable. We got the chance to be double upgraded and it made our stay over there so relaxing

perfect for an overnight stay and to explore the area.

Pros: very near the train station, easy to get to and in the center so near everything

Cons: trains run in front of the property so you can hear them a lot, however, they do stop in the evening until the morning so you can get a goods night sleep
