Andara Boutique Hotel

Great location and staff!

Pros: The central location in Barranco is great! We had the room with the balcony which I would not book over a weekend due to street and bar noise but we had it during the week so all was okay. Staff are super helpful and friendly. They brought us a fan when we asked and always greeted us warmly.

Cons: I have very few recommendations and they are small. Towel hooks would be great as would bedside reading lights (versus the overhead only) and adding a shade or curtain to the frosted glass window so the outside motion detector light doesn’t come into the bedroom. We’d stay again for the location and service alone. Fabulous for the location, service and price.

Beautiful arty hotel in Barranco, great location and lovely staff!

Pros: The room was a great size with comfy beds and access to Netflix. Art around the hotel was a really nice touch. Rebecca and other team members were really friendly and welcoming, helping us to find a laundry nearby and even letting us borrow a card for the public bus. Toiletries, regular cleaning and water were provided for us and the shower was hot.

Cons: Some light came into the room through the window above door, not a huge problem as we had eye masks. Breakfast is provided by the cafe/restaurant downstairs but isn’t to the same standard as the hotel, limited options and slow service. Completely separate staff but did affect our stay somewhat. Would recommend staying at Andara but getting breakfast somewhere else.

Best staff EVER!!

Pros: The room was amazing and much more than we expected. The bed was comfortable, the layout was great and the shower was luxurious. But the exceptional staff really made our stay with them so special. They are hand on heart the most helpful, kindest staff I have ever stayed with. We had a couple of tricky situations and they went way way above and beyond to help us. We really appreciated everything they did for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Homely hotel in the best part of Lima

Pros: Loved the location in Barranco which is one of the nicest areas in Lima. The decor and artwork was nice, large comfortable bed, modern tv. The place had high ceilings and felt homely. Kind staff and gave us bottles of water during our stay.

Cons: There was no door or curtain separating the bedroom and bathroom/entrance to the room, and no curtain on a window to the hallway so anytime people came into the hotel it was too bright to sleep. No window we could open for fresh air/no aircon. It was a bit noisy with the door open to the balcony. The room really needed a bedside lamp for the evening. It would be good if the hotel provided an eye mask for sleeping and ear plugs

Nice stay

Pros: The hotel is very good, situated in the neighbourhood of Barranco, and has everything you need in the area. The hotel is new and everything looks impecable. There is also an art exhibit from local paintors on the walls. I especially liked the people there, Rebecca and Fabian are very nice and forthcoming, and they helped me with all my inquiries.

Cons: Because it is an old building the bathroom inside is divided into a box shower and a box toilet, and that was something new. The only thing that I didn't like is the amount of perfume they used in the room as freshener.

Great place in Miraflores

Pros: - we had a room upgrade (apparently due to ongoing renovation) - instead of a family room we got to large doubles - very friendly staff - excellent decor - real artworks hanging on the walls (it looks like a budget version of a boutique hotel) - we were able to exchange our breakfast vouchers for discount on meals in a restaurant downstairs

Great!

Pros: Room really big with a great bed and new bathroom. Breakfast also very tasty. Staff helpful and friendly, trying to improve their English. Location is very central in beautiful Barranco in a nicely restored building.

Cons: Of course you hear the sounds from the restaurant and they warn you for it. It wasnt that bad, not even needed earplugs. Breakfast starts from 8 am, which is a bit late.. It was possible to get it a bit earlier on request.

Just perfect - wish we could‘ve stayed longer!

Pros: A beautiful old building that appears to have just undergone a high-quality renovation. The interior is very tasteful and you immediately feel at home. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the suite, which I would definitely book next time; it's simply fantastic. The bed is 2 meters wide and the mattress is a five-star standard. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

There are a lot of options for hotels but I recommend this hotel
