I had a real good time in the center of Lima Miraflores, which I will never regret!

Pros: Receptionist Edith provided me with everything I needed. She was always willing to go an extra mile to leave me satisfied. My room was spacious enough. The hot shower worked well. The kitchenette in the reception lobby upstairs was very practical and always clean. They have lots of cutlery and silverware, you only need to ask Edith. There was a big fridge in the lobby and I had a smaller one in my room, which was very convenient. They changed my linen and cleaned my room every time I asked them to, The quality of linen was good. The cable TV in my room was excellent, with several English and French-language channels, including sports. Location was quite good for me, as I love city walks, and Lima Miraflores is definitely worth visiting if you like city adventure, shopping and variety in architecture. The area is one of the safest in the city. I could walk the streets of Miraflores all day. The Hospedaje Schell guesthouse is really close to the best beaches in town, too.

Cons: The double bed was way too soft for my back. Sometimes, it was actually rather noisy outside during the night (street traffic, seagulls, etc.) The view from the only room window was not to everyone's taste, to say the least. But this can be fixed over time. Frankly, the best place with windows in the house was the public area in the reception lobby furnished with a couple of cozy armchairs. There were also several comfortable sockets close to the armchairs and two dining tables for guests in the lobby.

Pros: I only spent one night here but considering the location and average costs of rooms in the area, the price is fair. It is close to a big central park, stores and restaurants. The staff was helpful in booking and early taxi to the airport.

Cons: Although I'm sure the rooms are cleaned adequately, all the furniture, carpets, walls etc., show their wear and tear. For example, carpets in my room had lots of stains. Also, the fan was very loud but it did not bother me too much.

Good value for money at $15 for single room and should be $20 for the double. Close to a good area.

Pros: Good basic place. Good location. Close to busy street with tourist park area nearby.

Cons: I stayed in a single room the 1st night and then decided to stay for a 2nd night but only a double room was available even though I was on my own. So price was now $30 instead of $15. So I left. Then looked on booking and it was $22 so booked it and went back. No apology. Was told it is just the way it is. Left me feeling like I was being mislead. Room was bigger so no problem.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is an old, but well maintained and clean hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The WiFi was decent.

Pros: Personal amable, excelente ubicación, acceso a varias tiendas y restaurantes al rededor. Todo el personal es femenino, por lo que da mayor seguridad a viajeras mujeres que van solas. El precio excelente y adecuado para la ubicación
