A superb, luxurious hotel in a great location next to the sea.

Pros: A superb, luxurious hotel in a great location next to the sea. The staff were all polite, friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a stylish, well equipped bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities, chocolates, and a well-equipped mini bar. Both the breakfast in the rooftop dining room, and lunch in the ground floor garden restaurant were excellent. All in all a great experience and probably one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Fabulous introduction to Peru

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were very kind when my daughter got ill they were superb. Everyone helped us as much as they could. Wonderful hotel. Highly recommend.

Probably the best hotel in Lima…but…

Pros: Great location and very spacious rooms. The tours of Lima (Old and modern Lima + Barranco) that we booked through the hotel were great. The transfers from the hotel to the airport worked really well.

Cons: Although the hotel is probably the best in Lima, many things could/ should be improved. 1) The service at Tragaluz was very slow, even with the restaurant being quite empty. 2) During breakfast, the service was slow and they always missed/ forgot something from the order. 3) The rest of the group traveling with us received a fruit basket on arrival with a note, but we didn’t. 4) Last, the concierge service is messy (e.g. not booking the restaurants for you, sending a recap without the tours, confirming only half of the information like not putting the number of people in a reservation, putting one price in their PDF and then another in the confirmation, etc.)

Staff went above and beyond and location was wonderful!

Pros: The staff went above and beyond to make sure our tours were scheduled appropriately, we had dinner reservations and they accommodated our travel plans. The location was perfect to walk the area. We will definitely use a Belmond Hotel again!

Pros: Breakfast offers an ample variety of items. High service level from all hotel staff. The oven view room is absolutely stunning, particularly in the sunset hours.
