Hotel Esperanza

Good value, central location

Pros: Conveniently located in Miraflores but tucked away so not noisy. Comfy and clean with nice en suite. Lovely

Pros: A simple and quiet hotel in a very good location, just a short walk from Kennedy Park and the bus stop to the historical centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, daily housekeeping was available upon request, and the Wi‑Fi worked well throughout the stay.

Cons: The property could benefit from some updating, but nothing major that affected the overall experience.

Pros: Wonderful Wonderful reception staff who let me keep my luggage in storage there for 3 months. Comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom.

Cons: The noise. No matter how many times I changed rooms -the noise was always there. Either noise from the street, noise from the school next door, noise from the construction next door or noise from the paper thin walls. This is of no fault of the hotel staff as they tried numerous times to accommodate me but unfortunately the noise was always there.

Pros: Staff are awesome and friendly. Everyone! Location is great and easy yo walk everywhere. Room was simple but served us well. Breakfast also with small variety but also enough to get us starting the day

Cons: WiFi connection is not very good, only downside in our view

Excellent location & staff

Pros: Staff were really nice and we liked that you had to be buzzed into the hotel as it added security. Perfect location on a quiet street in Miraflores but close to everything. We had two reservations as the double room we preferred wasn’t available for the duration of our stay, but they graciously upgraded us to a triple room so we wouldn’t have to change rooms - very kind of them. The room was huge! The bathroom was nice and modern, appeared recently renovated compared to the rest of the space. Great hot showers.

Cons: I’m sure this hotel is usually blissfully quiet, but unfortunately during our stay there was construction work happening with constant noise all day from 8am. The WiFi continuously turned off and on, it only worked somewhat stable if you sat near the door to the hallway. The brick walls make the hotel cold and dark. We would stay here again though, especially once the construction work is completed.

This was a great base to do the things we wanted to do in this area of Lima.

Pros: It was located fairly centrally and easy to get to Kennedy Park. Access was easy and there was always someone on duty. The beds were comfy and the shower was hot.

Fantastic stay in Miraflores.

Pros: We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights before heading north of Lima and were so impressed with the caring staff, location and comfort that we re-booked for a further 3 nights for the end of our trip. In our opinion the staff excelled and the owners should be proud of them all.

Small hotel in Miraflores

Pros: Great location and super nice staff. I got a snack for breakfast. Enough for a pick me up. They opened the new cafeteria on my last day. It's nice! Great value, safe location and friendly staff.

Cons: The room was a bit cold at night. I closed all the window best I could, he he! It wasn't that bad though.

Pros: The room was big , the location is very good, the shower was hot, the staff was very friendly and the location is safe.

Cons: The room had no heating, but there were good blankets so I slept very well.

Pros: 1. Spacious and comfortable. 2. Ample hot water. 3. Safe and a large wardrobe. 4. The staff was very helpful. 5. There was no hair dryer in the room, but the front desk lent us one. 6. There is a supermarket nearby. 7. Luggage storage is available.

Cons: 1. It is very far from the airport, but I think this is because Lima Airport is very remote. 2. The water from the bathroom would flow into the room and we had to block it with towels but it didn't work.
