Hotel Rumi Punku

Great hotel at a good location.

Pros: Very nice hotel, the inner garden was exceptional. Room was spacy and had all we needed. Breakfast was also very good. Service staff was excellent.

Cons: The room had a window towards the inner garden, but because of people there, one could not leave the curtains open most of the time.

Pros: Beautiful hotel. Quiet, far enough away from the main square to not hear anything at night, but also close enough to easily walk to.

Pros: Nice stylish place close to the center. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Cons: Rooms are a bit noisy but nothing you can’t handle.

A truly charming and historic hotel, immaculately kept with helpful and kindly staff.

Pros: A truly charming and historic hotel, immaculately kept with helpful and kindly staff available 24/7. The building is designed around a series of courtyards and patios, decked out with lovingly tended hanging baskets and interesting antiques. We had room 307, with gorgeous views across the rooftops to the mountains and the ever changing sky scapes of the Andes. There were great breakfasts in the grand old dining room with a chef to make the eggs anyway you wanted. We benefited from the constant supply of free filtered water and coca tea and airport shuttle service. We were 5 - 10 minutes walk from the picturesque main square and main sites of the city.

Cons: We had no option but to fly straight in from sea level. So, it was perhaps inevitable that we spent the first couple of days with altitude sickness. However, the staff were very helpful and gave us free sessions with the oxygen tank until we felt well. The room could have done with sockets near the bed, but we loved it none the less.

Fabulous place to recoup after Inca trail

Pros: Great breakfast, comfy bed, perfect to relax after Inca trail hike. Security were great

Cons: Laundry a bit expensive so we went elsewhere - not major and we really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely and relaxing stay at Rumi Punku

Pros: Booking Rumi Punku after a 4 day Inca trail was the best decision ever. The hotel is lovely and the staff is so kind and ready to help. We went there for our honeymoon and they even left us flowers in the room! I also had the most amazing massage with Rocio, my legs really needed it. And the spa, albeit small, is completely for private use which is such a nice touch.

Cons: Breakfast could’ve been slightly richer with more sweet / chocolate options, but that’s a matter of personal taste.

Exceptional stay at Hotel Rumi Punku

Pros: We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rumi Punku. The staff were friendly and very responsive to all queries prior to check-in. The room was clean and spacious, the courtyard was beautiful, the breakfast spread was ample, and there was a refillable water filter available for guests. We highly recommend this 3+ star hotel — if we were ever to return to Cusco, we would happily stay here again.

Pros: Rumi Punku Hotel was very clean and comfortable. I loved the cozy atmosphere, the massage service and the breakfast!!! The food was always fresh and yummy 😋!! Thank you so much for making our stay very comfortable ❤️
