Delightful place!

Pros: Super welcoming and supportive, very thoughtful about acclimatising and helpful with storing our bags while we did the Inca trail. Very beautiful building and lovely rooms.

Cons: Could hear a dog barking and sometimes nightclub music at night but with no problem with ear plugs in.

Good experience, no issues

Pros: Location, 6 min walk from the city center, nice and warm in the room, the staff is very responsive: they prepared for us lunchboxes when we had a tour that started at 3:00am and couldn't attend our breakfast. They also served early tasty breakfast on the day of our departure. 24/7 access to the hot tea, water. The manager offered transfer options and excursions when we asked.

Cons: There is no real reception in the hotel. Sometimes, you need to go around the place to find the personnel, but you can communicate with them through WhatsApp.

Despite all this, our stay was good, and the staff did their best to please us.

Pros: The breakfast met our expectations. The location of the accommodation is very close to the main square. However, it was quite a climb, which for Cusco is a bit tiring.

Cons: In our room the bathroom facilities were adequate, but particularly strange, to a degree we have never encountered in a hotel before. The reservation mentioned a room with a view! this was non-existent.

2 night arrival in Cusco

Pros: Located close to main square around a small central courtyard over several levels. Small breakfast balcony with views. Breakfast is to pre-order from list which works as there only appears to be one member of staff. Unpretentious and reasonably quiet.

Cons: Room was a bit tight with suitcases.

Excellent value

Pros: Location was excellent I loved our little roof terrace with amazing views. Electric window kept getting stuck. Water canisters worked well. Manuel sent 2 voice notes on arrival which was helpful

Cons: Ate in ding room on first day which was cold and very uninteresting. Ate in room on second day. Box breakfast was poor and threw it away. Need a second bin.

Wonderful

Pros: Location was great, the staff was super helpful and friendly and the hotel itself is very beautiful! We greatly enjoyed our stay and liked the option to have the breakfast in our room, as well as the laundry service! Would definitely recommend Rumi Wasi

Our stay in Rumi Wasi was very good. Manuel was very helpful and the rest of the stuff too!

Pros: Our stay in Rumi Wasi was very good. Manuel was very helpful and the rest of the stuff too, especially when we needed help with storing our luggage to make trips elsewhere and come back to Cusco. The breakfast and the coffee was marvelous and it comes with a fantastic view if you have it at the balchony. The street where the hotel is located is very centtal but somehow quiet because its uphill from the main square where the fuzz is. Totally recommended!

Cozy stay in the centre of Cuzco!

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the location is great! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast/sitting terraces have amazing views. They also do take and store your luggage if you are going to Machu Pichu or another overnight hike for no extra cost!

Cons: The hotel is such, that due to the fact of it being a colonial and therefore protected house it can’t have a reception desk. Not that this was ever a problem going in or out and Manuel was very attentive with this, but it was an issue when especially at night the door bell kept ringing for customers who were checking in for the first time, or those who didn’t use their key to come in. This was a nuisance when you were trying to get some sleep before a very early wake up call to go on a demanding hike. The other negative that I would just like to point out for future, is that the bathroom had no washing soap or shampoo at neither of our stays. We only had hand soap at the second part of our stay, no soaps to wash at all the first night.
