Pros: The owner of the hotel is a wonderful lady! She helped us book transportation to the hydroelectric power station, we love her very much, the room is very comfortable, the breakfast is good, we really liked everything.

Beautiful house

Pros: Lovely family owned business in Ollantaytambo just a short walk from the main square. The hosts here very friendly and welcoming and the house was beautiful, we loved the roof terrace surrounded by the mountains. Breakfast was made every morning to order with eggs and bread and fresh coffee. The beds were very comfortable.

Cons: There is no heating so bring extra layers if you’re there during winter

Pros: Location was perfect, quiet not too far from the city center. Room views and communal areas view was just amazing

Pros: It appears that a family runs this hotel. They work well together and all share the load. The breakfast was good but a piece of fruit added would make a nice touch. They stored our bag for us for 1 night while we went to Machu Picchu, we were very grateful for that.

Cons: I would like fruit with the breakfast, we asked for toilet paper.

Cute family business

Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were perfectly clean, absolutely spotless. Super clean sheets and comfortable beds. The hotel is a cute family business, and the staff was super nice and very helpful, and we loved their cute little dog. They prepared a lovely breakfast bag for each of us to take with us on the train, because we had to leave early for the train. Personally I can very much recommend it.

Pros: owner are very nice people and helpful. the room is clean and near to the main place. hot shower is available. breakfast is good enough. good vibrations with people and place!

Cons: hear the sounds from the outside. but during the sleeping is quiet so not big problem.

Ollantaytambo Adventure

Pros: I loved the large room with a beautiful mountain view & French windows. It was a very nicely decorated room with plenty of room for my stuff. It had bedside lights too. The bathroom was huge with a hot water shower - eventually. The bed was large, firm and comfy. It had lots of warm covers. I liked the location although it’s not luggage friendly one. The hotel, on the whole, is a good one. But something seems missing in its operation.

Cons: It seemed that something was lacking in the running of the hotel. I was told breakfast was a specific time but when I went down nobody was around for about another half hour and nothing was available. When someone did materialise the breakfast was cobbled together eventually. But there was no fruit or fruit juice as indicated in the pictures on booking.com The breakfast room is open to the elements and can be cold. I felt like I was inconveniencing them. Communication was difficult because no one was about and my room, cleaning wise, was not touched while I was there. I needed another loo roll and managed to find someone to ask for one (via Instagram & WhatsApp). I was eventually left a quarter of a used roll outside my room. No-one replaced that one when it quickly ran out. So I took one from another room because nobody could careless. When folk did materialise, they weren’t unfriendly but it wasn’t being run like a hotel. They were mostly children helping too. I did wonder if something had happened.
