Pros: A fabulous Inca-style hotel with friendly staff and delicious breakfasts.

Pure magic!

Pros: I honestly do not think I’ve stayed in a better hotel before. It was so beautifully set up with absolutely everything you could hope for ! The family who run the place are so beautiful, and the breakfast was a real treat. We came here to a acclimatise before our Machu Picchu hike and it was just so surreal having the most amazing view from our bedroom!

Pros: The room was large and very clean, with an exceptionally comfortable and spacious bed. The food was tasty, and for our early departure they prepared a lunch box instead of breakfast, which was a nice touch. The place was well maintained, the bathroom was big and clean, and the view from the property was lovely.

Cons: The location isn’t ideal—about a 15-minute walk to the train station via an unlit shortcut or 20–25 minutes by the regular route; it’s around 10 minutes to the city center. The window faced the corridor, which could be uncomfortable in other rooms, though it wasn’t an issue for us since we were at the very end of the hallway. Other than that, everything was fine.

A good hotel at a very low price

Pros: It was a really nice hotel with a great breakfast and lovely helpful staff at a very low price.

Cons: We stayed two separate nights the first night was in the standard room but it was too small for two people and luggage. The second night we went for a larger room it was great.

Pros: Staff amazing - really attentive and helped me organise a private tour for transfer back to Cuzco at good price. Lovely breakfast. Room spacious with large bathroom

Cons: Place is 20 mins walk from the train station bus is ideally located to see the lovely ollantaytambo archeological site

Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The place clean and comfortable.

Cons: Maybe a bit far away from the station.

Pros: It was great value for money, the staff were incredibly helpful and the facilities were very comfortable.

Cons: It was slightly further out of town but nothing unmanageable

Pros: Hosts were always really helpful and the breakfast fantastic.

Cons: Not the hotels fault but the local dogs could be very noisy through the night and early morning.

Pros: The couple who host the hotel are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are great - spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast was varied, delicious and substantial - bring a good appetite! I loved the comfortable seating area on the enclosed terrace with panoramic views out to the snow-stopped mountains. Just a great place to sit, read and relax

Cons: Nothing - hard to improve this
