Beautiful but pricey!

Pros: Amazing hotel room, huge room, huge bed and lovely open and airy rooms. Bath included which was a bonus. Central location to train station and centre. Beautiful surroundings.

Cons: - it was pricy for one evening!

Pros: The shower with a strong hot water pressure. Comfy beds. Beautiful gardens. Very convenient to the location of the train station for the trip to Machu Pucchu. Generous breakfast with lots of passion fruit.

Cons: Nothing. Staff could be more warm and engaging though.

Perfect location with friendly reception staff

Pros: The location was perfect for the train station and a short walk to the main square. The hotel kept our main luggage whilst we visited Machu Picchu which was essential and helpful. The reception staff were welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the setting/grounds were beautiful.

Cons: Breakfast was OK. The main staff member in the breakfast room was on his mobile phone both mornings and not helpful. There were cobwebs in the main bedroom and the bathroom needed refurbishment.

Pros: Cozy and good size of room. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Very clean

Cons: The room is cold, no heater. But not sure because of the weather or my jet lag. My husband did not feel cold at all. The wood floor cracking so loud whenever you walk Breakfast variety could be better

Pricey but convenient location for peace of mind

Pros: 1. The location is right beside the train stations and a 10 mins walk to the ruins and Main Square 2. Beautiful guest houses and garden 3. If you go up the stairs in the backyard, you can see the ruins 4. Reception staff is very helpful, especially Edwar who made sure my stay was comfortable and recommended the best restaurant (I went for dinner AND lunch the next day)

Cons: 1. I was surprised by the price but it’s in the same category as “airport hotels” where you pay for convenience and peace of mind 2. The main avenue doesn’t have a proper pedestrian walkway so you have to be cautious of traffic
