Hotel Ferré Machu Picchu

Perfect hotel in a great location.

Pros: Great staff, perfect location, wonderful view, very comfy room, wonderful breakfast

Cons: Nothing it was great

Short stay but perfect for what we needed, a hot shower and a comfy bed.

Pros: Location was great, we had a river facing room which was quiet. It was a very short walk to restaurants and coffee shops.

Cons: Nothing, sounds picky but the numbers on the AC unit were so bright. I wasn't sure how to dial them down a bit. Duct tape would be useful here.

One night in Machu Picchu pueblo

Pros: Everything went well, the hotel is refurbished and has lovely views on the gorge. It would be paramount though to install double glazed windows as the rooms overlooking the river are extremely noisy, it feels like the river runs through your room. Inpossible to sleep without earplugs. The entrance hall could also do with some revamping I give it an 8 due to the politeness of the staff and the nice breakfast but it would deserve a 7

Pros: Location. Had river facing room. The white noise blocked out any town noise.....although this part of town is quiet anyway. Breakfast good.

Cons: Towels a bit worn, but soft. No access to a kettle for hot water for drinks

Perfect the your stay in Machu Picchu

Pros: Ideal for one night. The staff were lovely and the room was comfortable. Breakfast overlooking the river was a real treat.

Cons: The room faced the river which we loved, but if you were a light sleeper, then it may not be suitable.

Pros: The staff were very polite, they kept our luggages while we were at machu picchu, the entire hotel was VERY clean. I loved that it was on the river, the view from the room was amazing, but the river is furious, you can hear it. We did not open the windows, as it was aircon in the room, so we did not have issues with the mosquitoes. The facilities were basic, but i think more than enough for a 3 star hotel. The bed was very comfortable, i slept like a baby

Cons: The breakfast could have been a bit more diverse, for people that stay more than one day

The best choice in town!

Pros: Best choice in town! The hotel is clean, has comfortable rooms and the best staff ever! We had a medical emergency and got helped right away with all that we needed. Everyone was so nice and super helpful. Thank you all so much! They offer many different options for breakfast and our room had a fridge. We did not have any problems with mosquitos and enjoyed the great view from our window. The train station and the bus station to Machu Picchu are both very close. I can recommend the hotel with all my heart! If we ever come back we already know where we will stay.

Pros: The location and the view were great. Good breakfast and good customer service.

Cons: One of the rooms was very hot and without enough ventilation. Showers were either clogging or leaking.

Pros: Amazing view of the mountain and river, very good breakfast and very friendly and understanding staff.

Pros: Hotel is on a flat surface, other hotels are on very steep hill. Not too fare away from the restaurants.

Cons: Room could be bigger and could do with AC for heating...
