Pros: Coming to this place was very refreshing. The room was very clean, and also very stylish.

Cons: Unfortunately the WiFi did not reach our room.

Good stay just out of the main Cusco tourist area

Pros: Very friendly staff who stayed late and waited for our arrival. Good breakfast options and decent room.

Cons: Low water pressure and hot water not always available - but that is the reality of Cusco and not really the fault of the hotel. Everything else was lovely.

This hotel is a gem.

Pros: This accommodation is on a quiet residential area but close to main roads and the centre of Cusco. The staff are among the most friendly and helpful of any hotel that I've ever visited. The breakfasts are excellent (I recommend the omelette and yogurt fruit parfait, and the rooms and hallways are incredibly clean and comfortable.

Cons: Google maps showed an entrance to the street off of Miguel Grau (Hwy 3S) that is actually blocked by a locked gate. Local streets were under reconstruction, making navigation to the hotel (at least early 2026) somewhat tricky.

Pros: Jhina was incredibly accommodating, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect - from early breakfast packaged up for an early tour or letting us shower after we had checked out before our flight

Really good value!

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It’s really spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff was also really nice, giving me access to oxygen as I wasn’t feeling well due to the altitude.

Cons: This hotel is more of a boutique hotel, so no service at night, which means no water and food. Make sure you buy your own water and keep it in the room as they only had beers and juices in the fridge. Having said that, there are tea stations throughout the casa.

Nice choice for quality - price

Pros: The girl at the reception was sweet and helpful. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the center. It is clean. It resembles an old mansion and is well-kept and tasteful, with views in some spots. They even have oxygen at the reception. Breakfast was small, but you had the option to order freshly made food from a menu (eggs, yogurt, cake).

Cons: The rooms are a bit small, and the bathroom had a broken shower and a damaged curtain.

Pros: In Casa Esmeralda by Katary we feel as at home. Lovely public space where you could rest in inner gardens with coffee or tee. Room was clean comfortable and full of loveli light. We had all we need in our room. Staff were friendly and profesional. Location very quite and near to the centre. Love it

Pros: Very helpful staff, great service level! It has a great cafe and a storage room for your luggage even after the end of the stay.

Cons: Shared bathroom on the upper floor is cold in the night. On some days there are issues with the water pressure, which can make it hard to take a proper shower after a long day of hiking.
