Tidy bolthole in Cusco

Pros: Great hospitality, the owner even made us chicken soup when one of us became unwell. The apartment was clean and tidy with good view of Cusco. Great location.

Pros: We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. This is 10-15 min from center of Cusco. We were in the duplex and we had plenty of space and hot water in the shower. Mary and Napoleon are really nice owners and were taking good care of us, including laundry services. They had just opened their café downstair the hotel and we recommend it, the breakfast is super good and the coffee great. We recommend this place and especially with children.

Pros: Very nice spacious apartment, comfortable bed, warm showers. And super nice host.

Cons: A bit cold at night (which is normal in Cusco), but there was a small heater and enough blanket. Also on the edge of the center, but a 15 min walk or 2 euro taxi and it makes it nice and quiet for sleeping.

This place is a gem!

Pros: It is owned and run by a local family. Everyone in the family was incredibly nice and helpful. We loved their little Peruvian dog. The location was perfect for us. It is about a 15 minute walk down to Plaza de Armas which is tourist central. The location is quiet, the bed and pillows comfortable and the view from our room was exceptional. We slept so well every night. The ample breakfast often included something from the family’s garden or a home-cooked cake or breakfast bread. We loved how they cared that we had a great time in Cusco and would take time in the morning to answer any questions and talk about our plans and for the day. Our room had a kitchenette and a glassed in balcony overlooking Cusco- we really loved sitting there- we are sharing a lovely picture of the mountains from that spot. This place is a gem and we highly recommend.
