Pros: Great experience on the Salkantay trek! The owners and the staff were so nice and helpful. The place itself is also nice and comfortable with a hot shower and comfortable beds. Also the food was amazing and we had the opportunity to get snacks and sandwiches for the hike.

Definitely would recommend!

Pros: Really nice people, good dinner and breakfast! Accomodated for vegan food, which was awesome. Got a briefing for the next stage of the trek in the evening and could ask all questions remaining. Also, we got a demonstration of how they roast their own coffee, which was cool to see. Facilities were clean, rooms big and beds comfortable. Really good value for what you pay!

Cons: All was great.

A must-stay place on the Salkantay!

Pros: We had an amazing time at Fredy and Ester's! The family made us feel at home right away with their caring ways, bringing out some agua Fresca for us and Papa Juan started up a conversation despite us knowing very little Spanish. The coffee tour was so great, Fredy is an excellent guide. We got to experience picking, roasting, grinding and drinking our own coffee! We had delicious trout for dinner, fresh guacamole and friendly Bananas and yuca for breakfast and of course the farm's own coffee. Fredy gave us a helpful preview of the next days hike at dinner as well. The room was spacious with a hot shower and comfortable bed.

Perfect stay for your third night on the Salkantay Trek!

Pros: Freddy and his family were very hospitable and made sure we were comfortable from the very first moment! The room was spacious and the shower was perfectly hot. We shared the accommodation with only 8 other people, were invited to Freddy’s coffee tour - which was very interesting - and enjoyed dinner and breakfast together. Freddy also gave us useful information about the next hiking day. Thank you!

Pros: Comfortable beds, hot water in showers, good dinner and breakfast. The host Freddy was great and funny, the coffee tour was really great, we could see the process of making coffee from beans on the trees to roasting, grinding and finally tasting that coffee. Very original and informative.

Cons: The wifi didn't always work.

Pros: Really lovely guesthouse surrounded by beautiful nature. The family is very friendly and they do a free coffee tour every day, which was fun and the coffee we tried was very good. Breakfast was with some extra things compared to normal breakfasts and dinner was also very delicious. The room was lovely and spacious, the shower was warm and there was plenty of space to hang laundry outside in the sun. Right next to the path to continue hiking next day. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic!

Pros: Great place to stay after a long day’s hiking. Greeted with a refreshing lemon drink and arrangements to take us to the Santa Teresa hot springs. Beautiful coffee plantation, lovely staff. Nice and healthy dinner and breakfast the next morning. Everyone there was super helpful and had lots of tips for the next day of the hike. Our favourite place along the Salkantay Trail.
