Great Place to Stay in Ollantaytambo A***

Pros: What a find this spot was, 2 mins walk from the main square. Rooms were spacious and clean, shower nice and warm. We kept the room while we visited Machu Picchu to save carrying our big bags. But it is the people who make this a great place to stay, Juan and his mum were great hosts, super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and Juan helped us arrange a driver to take us to various sites across the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend, great value for money.

Great B&B with the kindest owner!

Pros: The B&B is in great location and is a great value for money. The bed is comfortable with a thick duvet & a little heater upon request. The owner of the B&B is the kindest person and he went above and beyond for me to help me out with anything needed. I can’t thank him enough and can only recommend this place!

Cons: There seemed to be an issue with hot water - it wasn’t always running.

Great place, great location

Pros: - great location - excellent breakfast - friendly staff

Cons: - no heating so the rooms were very cold at night - it was ok as long as you stayed in bed - sometimes problems with hot water

Best place to stay in Ollantaytambo!

Pros: Zolya & Juan are amazing hosts, very attentive and present for all you needs. The place is quiet, nearby the centre (6 minutes walk) and the train station (12 minutes walk). The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, the beds were most confortable, and the hot showers worked really well for the area. Breakfast was very nice and they prepped some food for us to bring in the early morning train to Machu Picchu. You can park just in front of the hotel. They also accept dogs. I highly recommend and will definitely go back there next time I go to Ollantaytambo.

Pros: Very nice mother and son running the business. Good breakfasts

Cons: Showers were a little bit funky. Temperature changes at certain times of the day.

Excellent hosts

Pros: The hospitality was excellent. Soila and Juan were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great too. I would definitely stay there again because of the hosts.

Cons: Water wasn't very hot, but this might have been rectified if we'd asked. Facilities and rooms are basic but clean.

Pros: It was an amazing stay at Tumy House. Very clean, nice rooms and it's near the main plaza where you can go for Lunch/dinner. The breakfast was really good ( with fresh orange juice :D) We could bring our Backpacks the day before at 7 am, cause we took the train to Machu Pichu. They were so nice, we felt absolutely welcome.

An excellent stay with a rough beginning.

Pros: The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was filling. The owner was friendly. The location was very good.

Cons: Due to a glitch of some sort, the rooms weren't ready when we arrived at 8 pm and we had to wait half an hour for them to be prepared. After that rough beginning, everything went well. The photos show a garden in the back but we did not see any sign of a garden.

Pros: The hosts were really nice, being responsive for everything we needed and making us feel at home. The room is basic but the beds & pillows are super comfortable! Nice fresh breakfast made by Juan, who also speaks good English. The street is silent and just a few min walk from the main square. Very nice family hospitality, we recommend. Juan is also a chef of a local great restaurant, so we recommend to try it!

Cons: You can hear steps and talks from out of the rooms door when someone passes by, and also there is a small window above the door so if the light lights up, you can see it in the room. Sometimes the front main door is locked and you need to wait untill someone can open it from inside.
