Home in cusco
Pros: Good location, nice simple breakfast, always coffee or tea available, very helpful, professional and friendly staff, nice large rooms, soap and towel available. They keps our extra bag for days while we were travelling to machu picchu, for free. We came here a second time and stayed 5 nights in total, felt so comfortable. For this price, couldn't ask more ❤ best place in Cusco. Milusca and Joseline thank you so much for everything ❤

Pros: Best possible value for money! Clean rooms with private bathroom with hot water at a great location for an amazing price. Staff is also super friendly and it has the possibility to store luggage for a long time.
Cons: Breakfast is basic, but what can you expect for this price

Pros: The staff were exceptional with being friendly and helpful. They printed off our tickets for Machu Picchu at no cost and also let us keep our room all day until our overnight bus and only charged us a low price to do so. Bright and large room in quiet area. Comfy bed and basic breakfast on offer.
Cons: The drains would make the bathroom a bit smelly but I think this is a Cusco problem rather than the property. The bathroom would hold water and would feel quite damp and humid.

Will definitely come back again
Pros: Really nice staff, allow me to check in at 8am, good buffet breakfast (bread, yogurt, cereal, Coca tea, coffee, jam, butter), hot shower, comfortable bed, luggage storage for up to 3 months for free!
Cons: Location is a little uphill, but still not far from city centre (maybe 10-15 minute walk)

Great budget option
Pros: One of the women working there was so kind and helpful to us it left a great impression. It's 5 mins from the heart of San Blas and it's very clean.
Cons: Shower was a bit cold. Breakfast was very basic.

Super value for money
Pros: Good wifi, comfortable bed, hot shower, only 10 minutes walk to main square, simple but good buffet breakfast (yogurt,cereal, bread, coffee and tea), can check in as early as 8am if the hotel has vacant room, luggage storage for up to 3 months! We choose to stay here again for few more nights after visiting Machu Picchu
Cons: Maybe not situated in the heart of the city, a few steps climb up the hill

Pros: Good and clean hotel that offer hot water all day long and 24h reception service. Luggage storage is for free.
Cons: After 10pm there was no water in the shower/ sink / toilet.

Safe, quiet hostel
Pros: The location is walking distance to plaza mayor but hilly something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Julio is very helpful. Other staff will need Julio to translate convo to English so we always end up looking for Julio 😀 it is very good as a hostel. Rooms are private with ensuite. If you’re looking for something luxurious, book a hotel. For us the accommodation is enough for what we needed. Laundry service is affordable, they’ll help arrange transport, and tours so dont worry so much activities
Cons: The room was a bit cold for us but we were given a small heater when we asked, which helped

Check in super early!
Pros: Let us check in to the room at 7am which was extremely good and they made an effort to get the room ready quickly. Only booked it to recover after an overnight bus and it fulfilled this purpose perfectly. Room very basic but blankets are warm. Breakfast very basic but grateful to get it at all at this price. Left bags after check out.
Cons: Shower was cold.
