Welcome Cusco Hostel

Pros: I liked that there were some chairs upstairs to chill on and there's also a very friendly cat. The staff were all very nice. Breakfast was fine with bread eggs, juice and tea/coffee, I'm vegan so instead of eggs they gave me a bowl of fruit.

Cons: Room was pretty cold. You are not allowed to use the water to wash your clothes.

Pros: Very welcoming and friendly host, good breakfast. With the option to store luggage in case you want to do a short overnight trip to Machu Pichu.

Pros: The owner is very kind. She helped us book a tour to Palccoyo mountain. She even walked with us into town at 4:30 in the morning to make sure we got picked up by the tour agency! The hostel is very nice too, the rooms are a bit cold but you get a lot of blankets so we were never cold during the night. The bathroom is very clean and the location is also very good. You just have to walk up stairs from the centre to get there but it's Cusco, there just are a lot of stairs. The breakfast is great too! We could also leave our backpacks for a few days when we went to Ollantaytambo. I recommend this hostel to anyone! It exceeded our expectations, mostly because of the kindness of the owner.

Perfect!

Pros: Very comfortable beds, the WiFi was really big good and the shower was great! Warm and good pressure :) the staff are so friendly and made us feel at home :) the breakfast was very good too! This is an excellent stay for the price! I even came back after Machu Picchu and extended my stay!

Pros: The host Marianela was one of the kindest hostel owners we've ever met. She made us breakfast outside of regular hours because we were leaving earlier, and arranged taxis and cheap tours for us. The hostel itself is quiet and simple, but lovely and cosy.

Cons: There's quite some stairs to get up to the hostel, but that was very manageable

Pros: Very friendly owner. They welcomed us early in the morning before the oficial Check in time and made us a warm tea. So nice! Nice breakfast.

Honest and kind-hearted people that will help you with anything you need

Pros: We were confused over what to do and how to do it in Cusco, they received us and gave us honest recommendations that fit multiple budgets, they talked to another hostel in Aguas Calientes so we wouldn't pay both hostels during our trip to Machu Picchu. I'm incredibly grateful over how kind, honest and trustworthy the A that ran the hotel (Marianela and Hernán) was. We were given honest prices whereas in many other places people tried to take advantage of us with tourist prices.

Cons: Sometimes the water ran a bit cold, but it's not unbearable.

Pros: Small but clean and comfortable room. Very kind hosts! Comfortabel beds! We could leave some luggage here during hikes.

Cons: Shared kitchen is in the house, of you communicate with the family to use it they make sure that you can and clean it for you, but it does feel a bit out of your comfort zone.

Pros: It was a pretty good room for that price. The staff was really pleasant, helpful and patient. They booked several tours for us, which was really handy. We were warned about everything and got all the necessary information about activities.

Cons: Firstly our room didn't have a window at all, but we asked and changed it. We had to ask to turn on the hot water most of the time. Also blankets were heavy

Heartwarming host

Pros: We stayed here in total for almost 1 week. The host is super friendly and heartwarming. When I was not feeling 100% she even made me a soup. Everything is there to have a good stay in Cusco. Thé neighbourhood is also really nice!
