Pros: I like hostel a lot. Really don't want to leave!
Cons: Don't expect much from their included breakfast, it's mostly bread and tea. Better get something to put on this bread by yourself.

Nice place, a bit too quiet
Pros: I thought it was a good hostel, the beds were good and the shower also. Nicely decorated and plenty of sitting space Great tour advice person, wasn't trying to sell me on things but being extremely helpful when I mentioned I wanted to do salkantay solo (no Group)
Cons: I left after a day since it was pretty empty, so not really enough of a social hostel. Maybe end of August is less people anyway, but some other hostels had more people. Breakfast was ok, but not enough for gluten free. They weren't able to give me yogurt or milk even to use with my own cereal. Coupled with no kitchen, this means I'd basically need to go to a restaurant for breakfast. But for regular dietary needs, I think the breakfast was OK.

Pros: Clean, comfortable beds with individual lights & privacy curtains around them. Plenty of hot water in the showers. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. All around good value for the price point
Cons: You get charged the booking dot com fee on top of the displayed price when you arrive. Never happened anywhere else in the world. A bit devious.

Central location / Worth the stay
Pros: I had a really pleasant stay at Magar Hostel in Cusco. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — a great place to relax, especially after long days exploring the city. The breakfast was tasty and filling, and I appreciated the on-site café/restaurant for a quick bite or coffee. The location is perfect: just a few minutes from the main square, yet quiet enough to rest peacefully.
Cons: The only things I missed during my two-week stay were access to a guest kitchen and a stronger internet connection in the rooms. That said, everything else made up for it, and I’d still happily recommend this place for a comfortable and centrally located stay in Cusco!

Pros: The location is great near everything you need and the main touristic points, the staff is very friendly and helpful (specially Juan), the room and bathroom space and comfort is superb.
Cons: The breakfast could be better and the shower takes a while to heat and it's not that hot.

Really great stay in Cusco
Pros: The staff are amazing - they all go out their way to help you & make your stay pleasant! Such nice and friendly people. The communal spaces are cool & social. The private rooms are big & spacious. The showers are nice and warm. They let us leave our bags in the luggage room while we went to Machu picchu and when went to the jungle.
Cons: The restaurant had a few supply issues when we were there, most items on the menu weren’t available. But there’s lots of nice restaurants nearby.
