A fantastic place to retreat to and enjoy village life from.
Pros: Peaceful, friendly, calm, waking up and falling sleep to the sound of the river. The breakfast’s are delicious with fresh juice, fresh fruit, soft tasty bread and cooked eggs. This is a gem of a place and hopefully reviews like this won’t mean it’s fully booked when you try to stay there!
Cons: Nothing. I liked everything.🙂

Clean, comfortable beds, hot showers, good breakfast, just lovely place
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, full proper bathrooms with good showers, lovely breakfast, 100% recommend, lovely owners, 5 minute maximum walk from the main square, owner recommended a restaurant Koricancha which was our favourite and catered well for allergies and coeliac. We stayed in 2 different rooms, 1 night before our trek, 1 night after the trek, the owner kindly looked after our luggage
Cons: We booked a room with the bathtub as we wanted to soak after Machu Picchu trek but the owner explained the bath had been removed due to local water issues which was understandable and didn’t effect our stay

Amazing stay in the sacred valley
Pros: Great little guest house! Jorge and his family are very welcoming and I would for sure stay here again. Great breakfast too. Ollantaytambo is the perfect base to explore the Sacred Valley.

A 5 Star experience in a 5 Star location by a 5 Star host!
Pros: A 5 Star stay! Jorge and the team at Parwa Guest House were amazing. They were extremely helpful in every aspect of our stay from arranging a taxi pick up and drop off at Cusco, a local guide to explore the area, recommendations for cafes and restaurants (which were amazing!) and finally, Jorge connected me with a local and authentic Shaman where I experienced a one on one San Pedro Ceremony. The breakfast was soooo good and the room was clean and serviceable and the beds and pillows very very comfy. Finally the location couldn't be any better. Located in the historic district Parwa Guest House was only a short stroll away from the main town square. An amazing authentic experience. Thank you Jorge - you're a LEGEND! 🙏😜👍👊😎🤩
Cons: Nothing to report here - it was a 5 Star experience

Charming family guesthouse
Pros: Lovely guest house in an excellent location. Nice gardens and terrace areas. Great breakfast. It was nice to feel like you were in a family home rather than a faceless hotel. Access to kitchen so you can make tea at anytime (hooray - the only place I stayed at in Peru with decent sized tea mugs!).
Cons: I had the choice of 2 rooms - one was quite large, but right by the entrance so potentially noisy. The other (which I chose) was quite small, but had a little terrace. This is to say, both room options had some drawbacks (other rooms that I sneaked a look into all looked lovely though!). The other downside to my room was that the only light came in via skylight, which of course couldn't be covered (and no window to let in fresh air). So I was wide awake at 5am because the room was fully light and it was quite stuffy in there with 2 of us. But these were actually small issues and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous, friendly guest house
Pros: Lovely, friendly guest house. Ideally located in Ollantaytambo town, a minute or two from the main square. Fab view from our room. Excellent English spoken. Recommended
Cons: For the price, there's nothing I'd suggest.

Charming Guest House
Pros: A delightful, charming hotel with a lovely courtyard garden and in a quiet location within the old part of town. The staff were friendly, the breakfast delicious and wifi reliable. Good sized rooms and very comfy beds.
Cons: Everything was great

Pros: It was by the road and I appreciated not having to drag my suitcases over cobbled stones paths.. which is all around the town. Was very sick from altitude sickness from check-in until next day and Jorge was very kind and provided lots of local remedy to help me get over it. The guesthouse had the best pillows I ever had on a holiday!
Cons: My room was at the front of the guesthouse and right by the public passage way.. people walking and talking right outside my window. Ear plugs helped a lot.
