Perfect option for Ollantaytambo

Pros: This was my favourite accommodation in my three weeks travelling through Peru. It was a very short walk from all the restaurants and sites. The grounds were lovely, as was the staff. The breakfast was simple, but sufficient. The best bit was my room. It was very simple, but when I lay on my bed I was looking straight out the window at the UNESCO Ollantaytambo site. After long days hiking, this felt like a real luxury. For reference, my room was opposite reception, top floor, far end. I really, really liked this accommodation and would definitely stay there again if I ever return.

Quaint, nice garden. Great value.

Pros: Beautiful garden. Beds had plenty of blankets. Cute, quaint place. Good price for water.

Cons: Creaky wooden floors might be an issue if staying on main floor. Otherwise our room was relatively quiet. The showers are hot in the evening but the shower curtain wants to stick to you. Also we received new toilet paper daily but no one removed our bathroom garbage and the bathroom had the ventilation window taped closed down a garbage bag so it got pretty stinky.

Pros: Hottest shower I've had in Peru. Friendly and helpful hostess. Very picturesque. Comfortable bed with plenty of bedding. Good location.

Cons: Breakfast was a bit spartan, but then the rent is cheaper than most other places. So I suppose you get what you pay for.

Pros: The garden is very beautiful and the hotel is very near to the center. Fresh fruit for breakfast. Bed and pillow are comfortable.

Cons: I asked when there is hot water and they tell me a specific range of time, I had a shower in that time but the water after few minutes became cold.
