Carlos Guest House 1 Cusco

Pros: Great place, quiet and very central. Perfect location. Everything was good. The kitchen was well equipped. It was easy to get in touch with Carlos.

Pros: We stayed at Carlos’ guest houses three times during our trip around Peru, and each stay was great. We stayed in two of his hostels and liked both of them, but we especially loved the Yellow House. Both kitchens were well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean with hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the WiFi connection was reliable.

Cons: Nothing to write

Pros: Comfortable, simple, great location. After 3 weeks in hostels I needed a bit of a break and some alone time and this was absolutely perfect. The blankets are warm and the room was comfortable. Carlos was communicative. The price is unbeatable. I would absolutely stay here again.

Cons: Sometimes it was a bit loud so I’m glad I had my earplugs. Also this is not a social or party place so if you’re looking for that it’s better to book a hostel. This place is more chill which worked well for me.

Pros: I highly recommend this accomodation. Everything was perfect. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Also the kitchen was good. Carlos is super nice and he helped us a lot with tour trips and transportation.

Pros: Quiet place, good location (but a bit inconvenient with a bicycle due to the large number of stairs). Carlos is very friendly and helpful, speaks English and French. He also has a company that will transport you to Machu Picchu and back.

Cons: Lack of any ventilation in the room.

Pros: Very comfortable stay, I booked a single-bed room and finally stayed in a big room with one double and one single bed! Good communication with the owner for a flexible stay. The access to a common kitchen was another advantage. Very good value for money!

Cons: Bathroom not always clean.

Pros: Affordable quiet and clean. Carlos helped me with lots of cheap tours and get cash. So kind and helpful !

Quiet place to stay in Cusco

Pros: Good location & price. Good if you're looking for a quiet place to stay in Cusco. I could leave my luggage there when I was in Machupicchu and after the checkout.

Cons: It's a bit inconvenient that there's no reception, but Carlos is always reachable and happy to help.

Pros: Todo perfecto, el check in lo hicimos más tarde pero aún así nos dio facilidades para poder ingresar sin problemas

Pros: Me gustó que sea como la descripción del lugar, que sea cercano a la plaza de armas, que sea muy confiable a la hora de dejar cosas e irme de tour por dos días y que sea comprensivo al guardar mis cosas unas horas debido a que mi vuelo salía más tarde de la hora pactada para irme. El anfitrión está muy atento a la sugerencia dadas, es amable al resolver dudas, mi estancia de 10 días fue buena gracias al buen trato.
