A most pleasant and comfortable stay

Pros: Spaceous, bright room (separate lodge) and beautiful garden. Quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable bed! Great shower with hot water! The proprietor Evelyn and her father Paulino were lovely and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay - highly recommended.

Pros: The owners are very friendly, interesting and very helpful and generous hosts. The accomodation I stayed in was very good value, comfortable and pleasant. The included breakfast was consistently good, with great coffee. The garden setting is lovely, hot water shower with good pressure was great, apart from one hiccup - quickly resolved. Apart from the occasional music at night from a venue down the road (not a big problem) and barking dogs (everywhere in Urubamba!) nights were very quiet. Location-wise it’s far enough from the centre to be more tranquil and close enough for easy walking (7-13 minutes for a range of good cafes and 30 seconds for 2 small shops selling drinks, snacks, etc.). I very much enjoyed the stay and recommend staying here.

Cons: The only 2 things worth noting is that in the upstairs two bedrooms, the walls are not at all soundproof. Again, it wasn’t a problem as my neighbour wasn’t noisy. The other element is that mornings can be pretty cold, and so a chilly start with no heating was bracing. No heating in accomodation seems very common here and in Cusco. It warms up here pretty quickly though, and the excellent shower makes a big difference to that.

Pros: Together with her family Evelyne makes you feel very welcome. I also loved the quiet location, a little bit outside the centre but everything in walking distance. In case you don't want to walk there are mototaxi's everywhere for a couple of soles. I recommand the breakfast in their beautifull garden. I also came back here to rest after my salkantaytrek. Thanks again for all your help.

Pros: The room is spacious, light and clean. Nice warm shower. Quiet place. Evelyn and her family are super kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. And the garden is beautiful and calm. Had a lovely stay here.

A gem of accomodation in a gem of a town

Pros: The Eco Lodge was the perfect place to recuperate after a long transit from Melbourne, Australia. Evelyn and her father who run the accomodation were gracious, kind and helpful and offer a beautiful accomodation a little out from the centre of Urubamba but close enough for easy access. Clean rooms and lovely gardens, I loved my stay at Los Perales...

Tranquil stay in Urubamba

Pros: beautiful garden full of floral scents (beautiful house too), quiet and private, comfy bed, impeccably clean, shower in a bathroom with textured glass on two sides so full of light, hot water, good internet, sweet hosts (thank you Evelyn and to your father as well :) )

Tranquil haven…beautiful stay ..welcoming hosts

Pros: Beautifully tranquil, large room, we paid for the breakfast and were not disappointed! We could also park our car securely which was a bonus. Wifi great and lovely and hot shower. 10 min walk to some nice local restaurants. Beautiful hosts … a thoroughly enjoyable stay!
