Extended a night!

Pros: I already submitted one before. Homer and Juvenal provided service with smiles, breakfast was comprehensive, strong and hot water, quiet location with no sounds of traffic or dogs barking.

Cons: Can’t think of any really. If you’re solo it’s fine. If you travel with a lot of luggage it might be a small issue.

Pros: Great staff (Homer and Juvenal are brothers and very helpful), comfortable beds, hot water, quiet location, hearty breakfast, good wifi

Cons: It was just a tad cold the first night, but then I wore socks and it felt fine on the second night.

Pros: Great central location. Juvenal was friendly and helpful at front desk. My alley facing room had a window with partial city views. Proper hot shower and sink. Room was made daily. Free mint and coco tea at front desk in the evenings.

Cons: Bath towel was replaced daily (an option should be provided to guests). The stairs was dark at night and a little night light will help.

Perfect little Gem

Pros: What a gem, nice and quiet amongst the hustle and bustle of Cusco. Comfortable beds, two pillows, rooms cleaned daily, towels super soft and clean. Nice hot shower. TV in the rooms. Use of fridge and Microwave. Breakfast included fruit, cereal, bread, Jam, ham + cheese, plus hard boiled egg. Tea + Coffee + Juice. Staff are very polite and accommodating. Plus a free taxi to or from the hostel!! Denise the owner admits “we focus of service rather than making money” I believe this is true. Huvenal helped speak to a tour operator after the tour company had a computer glitch and missed us off, he managed to speak to them and arrange a quick private collection to carry on the tour. He went above and beyond for us. Laundry is two door away at s/ 6.00 per kg. 24 hour reception. Fantastic hostel that should be called Hotel! Thank you for looking after us.

If I’m Cusco, stay here

Pros: The hostal was in a great central location although most nights were quiet at a reasonable time so could get a good nights sleep. The room was cleaned and bed made each day, good breakfast, even providing a breakfast box if you’re off early, will store your luggage if off on tours and even provided a free taxi to the bus station. It’s more of a small hotel than your typical hostal. I loved my stay here, even adding an extra day.

Cons: It would have been nice if they provided a key or code entry to the front door as I had to ring to be let in, even though it was always before midnight. Often there was no one in reception and someone had to come down to let me in. I’m sure they are used to it but it made me feel awkward.

Pros: exceptional location. friendly helpful staff. good hot water pressure. breakfast each day and box breakfast if you are going out. free airport transfer.

Cons: the bathroom was mouldy on the ceiling. difficult issue and it didn't detract from the stay overall but needs a wipe and seal!

Best place in Cusco

Pros: Stayed in Cusco for 2 weeks bouncing around diff hotels and hostels and this is by far the best I stayed in. Consistently hot water with great water pressure, hard to find in Cusco. Beds comfy. Breakfast great. And staff going over and above at every step. Special thank you to Juvenil (probably spelt wrong) who went over and above to help me.
