Amaru Valle Hotel

A extremely beautiful little place to stay close to town

Pros: The gardens at Amaru Valle were so beautiful and so were the little courtyards where we sat and sipped hot coco tea The little A framed buildings created a picturesque setting The morning breakfasts were served in a wonderful way with breadbadkets on each table, abd little bowls of fresh fruit. Dinner in the resturant was also great

Cons: The hot water took at least 5 minutes of patient waiting before it got hot It did eventually get there so be patient. Our room had 3 beds in it so was cramped as we only booked a twin room. Also it had no picture or decoration on wall like was advertised..

Pros: Staff were friendly and several were very reliable and able to communicate reasonably well in English. Others (at reception) had hardly any English.

Cons: I was fortunate to get and receive a kettle in my room because I was the first of the group to ask. I get up early and like to make a hot cuppa (or 2). Obviously not having a kettle in your room in Peru is the standard, but not used to not having a kettle, cup and spoon.

Pros: The resort looks beautiful, the service was excellent, the breakfast was excellent.

Cons: It's not easy to find the place. The place is a bit far, 500 meters from the center.

Everything was amazing, specially the helpful staff

Pros: The hotel is perfectly located past the plaza. Close enough to walk around Urubamba but not in the middle to be in all the chaos. The area looks great and the bedrooms are comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. We got fantastic recommendations for places to eat and they offered breakfast before the usual time since we were going early to Macchupicchu. Breakfast was delicious as well. Definitely recommend!

Pros: Beautiful gardens, such a wonderful safe & peaceful place.

Pros: The gardens and accommodation were beautiful. The location was also good if you wanted to be slightly out of the town centre where it is more peaceful. The choice at breakfast was also very good.

Cons: It may have been useful to have a drink/ food price list. We might have used the hotel facilities more if we had this information at hand.

Beautiful Hotel to stay at, very relaxing and all the staff were all friendly and helpful

Pros: The location was a five minute stroll into the centre of Urubamba. The hotel was peaceful and calm away from the busy of the centre. So a nice balance between the two. The room was bright, spacious and super clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was always hot. The gardens were beautiful and an added addition to be able to sit outside and relax in the gardens and watch the hummingbirds after busy exploring days. Breakfast was fresh with fruit , bread & eggs with coffee so a good start to the day. The staff at the hotel were always all very friendly & helpful going above and beyond. I would recommend & stay here again .

Excellent place to stay

Pros: Staff was super helpful. The gardens were pristine. Breakfast was delicious.very relaxing place not far from the centre of Urubamba. Super recommend it. Great value!

Cons: The sink was leaking every time it was used in room 404 but we only stayed one night and did not mention to reception.

Beautiful Property close to centre and proximity to other awesome sites!

Pros: A beautiful property in Urubamba.. close to Machu Pichu train station in Ollytambu...the area is quiet, beautiful and clean...misty mountains around the property, beautiful colorful gardens.. gated.. good security.. not enough space here to tell you how fabulous this place really is.

Cons: there was nothing.. other than I didn't like microwaved coffee & milk in the morning...
