Staying here was a pleasant experience and well located close enough to restaurants.
Pros: The monastery building. Friendly staff. Restaurant food is good value for money.
Cons: Wasn’t aware that there will be stairs. Hot water wasn’t always constant, we had at least one cold shower.

Very comfortable stay.
Pros: It’s an absolutely beautiful place to stay, like in heart of the mountains around. The monastery is serene and the hotel is just splendid. The rooms are spacious and clean with many facilities. The breakfast spread was the best so far I’ve had in Peru. The staff were friendly.
Cons: Nothing specific

Pros: The hotel is situated in the beautiful setting of an ancient monastery. The room was spacious, featuring a living area downstairs with a sofa and TV, and a sleeping area upstairs on a mezzanine. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was adequate.
Cons: The bathroom could use some extra space for a vanity unit to accommodate personal items. The shower was dated, with the main showerhead not functioning properly. The location is a bit of a walk from Urubamba city centre, but it’s very quiet and easily accessible by tuk-tuk for just 2–3 soles.

Great stay
Pros: Everything. Very tranquil, serene, super spacius rooms.. breakfast was a super abundant buffet so I dont understand some of the comments that said that the breakfast was basic. Great quality-cost relation.

Really Good, I highly recommend this hotel.
Pros: The hotel building design, the old church, the patio, bedrooms and staff members were the highlights of the staying. The food in general was good, breakfast buffet had a variety of options and also, dinner menu and music at evenings were very nice. Also we walked to the main Plaza a few times, as it was quite close by from the hotel. We hire a driver who took us to see some places like Maras and Moroy, and the front desk lady arranged that for us. Very good service and affordable.
Cons: On arrival we got asked to pay in advanced for the booking and fill up a information form for each of us. We were quite tired for the long journey and it was very late at night, we just wanted to get the rooms and sleep. Instead we had to wait to pay and so on. I understand is the hotel policy, but in other places like Cuzco and Machu Picchu, we settled the bill on the last day before leaving. In the restaurant, at the breakfast morning, the scrambled eggs were extremely cold both days we stayed. Maybe they need to replace the heating device or get a new container.
