Hotel Andesmar

This is a hotel at the very top end of 3-star establishments. A very pleasant stay!

Pros: All of the staff were friendly and welcoming (reception, cleaning, restaurant). The breakfast was very good. There was freshly squeezed orange juice and good quality coffee, and there were a lot of fresh fruit, cereals, savoury, pastries and hot food options. I was a solo traveller, but as there was a suite available for the same price as a room, I booked a suite. It was very spacious, clean and well-furnished, and had air-conditioning and a basic kitchenette. It would have amply catered for a family - there were 2 double beds and a single bed, and it felt spacious and not cramped. An additional small bed / cot could also easily have been installed. Complementary bottles of water were provided. The hotel is situated in a very respectable, quiet area and there was no noise disturbance. It is walking distance from the main attractions in Miraflores and an array of restaurants, shops and cafés. Staff were very keen to give details and recommendations of activities.

Cons: There was nothing I did not like, however I would suggest that as the suites have a kitchenette with a microwave oven, fridge, and wine glasses and tumblers, a kettle and some basic crockery and cutlery could be provided (the lack of these items was not an issue for me, as I carry a travel kettle and picnic crockery and cutlery). Breakfast hours were 7am to 10am, but an earlier start (e.g. 6.30am) would be better for guests who have an early start. (Again, this was not an issue for me personally, but I had stayed in several other hotels in Perú where breakfast was available from 6am). Apart from breakfast, no meals (or Room Service) were provided on-site other than drinks and light snacks at the bar in the evenings. However, there are many restaurants near by.

Pros: Staff are friendly, The location is good and the breakfast is very good

Absolutely loved my time here and definitely recommend it to everyone and I will definitely use them again

Pros: Location was fantastic, the size of rooms amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. You can always leave your luggage there free of charge

Cons: Only thing I can think of is the safety box I didn’t know how to use it. The instructions were only in Spanish. So I would suggest them go have another one in English. That’s just being picky wasn’t a big deal for me.

Good stay at a great location

Pros: The beds are good, very spacious room and good breakfast. Would recommend.

Cons: It was a bit noisy in the mornings, the windows were not well insulated.

Pros: Very spacious room, friendly staff. The best breakfast selection we had in whole Peru. Nice bar on the terrace.

Cons: No view from the room. The floor wasn't clean when we arrived, but everything else was very clean.

Fantastic hotel in Lima

Pros: Almost perfect hotel! Big room, good bed with firm pillows, friendly staff, modern tv and of the better showers we had in Peru! Breakfast was also good.

Cons: Its a business hotel so nothing fancy or special. That’s the only thing that makes the hotel not exquisite
