Black Llama Hostel Cusco

Everything is great except for the wifi (absolutely terrible)

Pros: Great location, slept very well, different spaces you can relax, great cafe.

Cons: The only negative I can say about Black Llama is the wifi is frustratingly bad. I had to hotspot 90% of the time to have any resemblance of a stable connection.

Pros: Great coffee, accomodating staff and great location

Pros: Comfy spacious, very clean. Lovely hot shower in the 8bed female dorm, room 104 , which leads on to the garden. Events each night, in the bar on the 1st floor at the front of the property, but not especially a super \

Cons: No parasols in the garden to offer shade from the sun. Not many chairs or tables on the grassy bit. Beanbags or similar would be good. Maybe a firepit?! There was free hot water and teabags, but also having free coffee especially in the mornings would be good.

Pros: We stayed in a private room. For the price and location the room was excellent - spacious and comfortable. The bed could do with more than one pillow, but otherwise no complaints. The staff were really great and organised lots of fun evening activities such as dancing classes. Comunal spaces are also really wonderful,

Cons: The room was a little cold but that is the only complaint. Really great stay.

Loved it!

Pros: The location is ideal, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the interior of the hostel is beautiful, with more than enough spaces to relax (both inside and in the garden). I stayed in both a shared room and a private room, and both were spacious and comfortable.

Cons: The Wi-Fi frequently dropped, and the included breakfast was disappointing.

Great for a few nights’ stay.

Pros: I liked the capsule nature of the beds. The room was clean, the hostel had a good vibe. It was quiet as well which was nice

Cons: Beds were a little hard and the bathroom was a little unclean. They also charge for luggage storage (other hostels do not)

Pros: Came back cause I really liked the place. Rafaela again was very nice to me, great to talk to. Karaoke night was bombing, sang a couple songs.

Cons: Again, the wifi sucks

Great place but the wifi...

Pros: The place is so beautiful, the breakfast is so nice to have included, saves you the trouble. The amenities like the pool table are great and Rafaela is so nice. She helped us a lot

Pros: I had the best time ever at Black Llama hostel, the staff is super friendly, and they were so attentive and kind.

Cons: I didn't like it... I loved it!

Beautiful hostel, party-ish vibe

Pros: Beds are comfy, rooms spacious, curtains give a lot of privacy. Staff were nice. Hot water and strong pressure always available in showers. Whole place looks beautiful as in the photos, seems new. Many areas to socialise and spend time outside the bedroom. Breakfast included was good, only 1 egg, but unlimited bread, cheese and juice.

Cons: Music until late from the place in front and also from the hostel’s social nights, solved with earplugs. Some beds shake when people get into the room or if the person on the top bed moves, you get used to it. Didn’t like paying for storage considering we were going to return after our trek.
