Perfect hostel in Mollepata before starting the Salkantay self-guided trek!

Pros: We spent 1 night in Mollepata before starting our self guided trek to Hidrolectrica. This hostel was fantastic! The food was amazing - the day before our trek the hosts made us (my wife and I) each a 3,000 calorie meal with proteins, carbs, vegetables, and everything we would need for a strong start to our trek. In the morning we ate with the local breakfast rush. Mollepata is a very small village and this hostel was a perfect place to stay the night before our big trek!

Pros: super clean, friendly, convenient place to stay, especially if you are on your way to Salkantay. We had our tour operator pick us up here after breakfast instead of waking up for a 4:00am Cusco departure.
