Hostal Huacachina Sunset

Our hostel is located on the Huacachina Boulevard, between the lagoon and the sand dunes. With multilingual reception and careful service, we are at your disposal 24 hours a day. For a pleasant stay, the rooms, with or without TV, have a fan, a private bathroom, with hot and cold water; views of the lagoon, dunes or pool. We also have budget rooms with no view of the attractions. Luggage storage and wi-fi at no additional cost. We offer to our guests pool, panoramic terrace, restaurant, snack bar, TV room. Continental breakfast consists of fresh fruit juice, buns, butter & jam, scrambled eggs, coffee/tea and is served in the hostel’s restaurant between 07:30-10:00 o’clock. If for reasons of tours or check-out you plan to leave before 07:30am, we offer a take-away with ham & cheese sandwich (or vegetarian equivalent) and a packaged fruit juice.

Great place in quieter area of Huacachina

Pros: Located right next to the oasis in a quiet area away from the party hostels which suited us perfectly. Room was comfortable and clean and had a great view of the sand dunes. Hot shower worked well. Wifi worked well. Multiple nice areas to relax including the rooftop terrace and at the poolside and the pool was very clean. Staff were friendly and allowed us to store our luggage after checkout for free in a secure storage room. Complimentary breakfast was basic but good and served in the adjoining restaurant.

Nice Touch: Early Breakfast Alternative Provided

Pros: The property has an on-site restaurant, which is convenient. Breakfast is simple but included. When I mentioned that I would be checking out early, they kindly prepared a sandwich and juice for me instead of the usual breakfast. There was a light cover and a blanket on the bed, so it felt reasonably warm at night.

Cons: There are multiple Wi-Fi networks, but the speed varies. One of them was about 3 Mbps, while another reached around 37 Mbps. I recommend testing both and using the faster one.

Pros: We had a very good 1-night stay - great location to access the activities on the dunes, comfortable beds, hot shower and nice breakfast. We'd happily stay there again!

Pros: Right at the oasis so location is amazing. But if you go just a little bit outside the oasis you can get something as good as for less than half of the price.
