Wonderful stay

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. The owner was super friendly, there was thee all day long, a yoga mat you could use and the best was the breakfast with vegetables from their own garden. I would highly recommend this place

Pros: Amazing breakfast with lots of vegetables from the garden. The room is nice and cozy with a perfect shower.

Pros: Lovely little property with open kitchen and nice nooks to sit in. Owner was very patient and let us leave our bags there for a night.

Nice stay for a night

Pros: Nice, comfortable stay. Nice, hot shower after so-so experiences in Cusco. Breakfast was nice - bread, fruits, fresh papaya juice, coffee etc. Friendly host.

Cons: Nothing in particular but the towels had weird spots on them.

Homely and nice feel

Pros: We loved Mama Green so much! Darghen, the owner of the guest house, is so nice and easy going. He is more than happy to suggest excursions and how to get to and from them. The breakfast was so fresh, salad, ham, cheese, fruit, bread, butter, jam and coffee. There is always tea and hot water to help yourself at any time. The room was clean and cosy. Comfy bed. Located slightly further away than the main area but it’s an easy 15 minute walk or 3 soles tuk tuk. Thank you!

Cons: Shower was slightly warm at best but happy it wasn’t freezing like a lot of other showers in Peru hahaha.

Pros: Really nice ambience with courtyard and lots of plants. Large, comfortable, clean rooms. Owner Darghen was very helpful, recommended me a wonderful hike that I wouldn’t have otherwise known about and helped me find a mototaxi to take me to the trailhead. Felt really cosy and homey. A bit far from the centre of town but its quite nice walking through Urubamba and getting a sense of everyday life in Peru - I did take a wrong turn walking back one evening and found myself on a back road with no street lights, but this was my own fault - you can easily get moto taxis to and from the centre of town for a few pesos. Great place to base yourself if you want to spend some time properly exploring the Sacred Valley beyond the quick stops on a day trip from Cusco.

Cons: Having to walk outside and upstairs to get to the bathrooms at night when it was cold wasn’t my favourite, and the door of one of the shared bathrooms was difficult to open and close as it always caught against the floor outside.

Pros: The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, easy transfer to the centre with tuc tucs, delicious breakfast with vegetables from the owner’s garden. The owner was very friendly and shared many tips about sacred valley trails as well as the local history.

Pros: We has a wonderful stay with out family at this hotel! The accommodation is beautifully designed and lovingly furnished. It's situated in an incredibly peaceful location, a bit away from the hustle and bustle, which adds to its charm. The staff was exceptionally courteous, and the breakfast offered was both delicious and healthy. I would book again anytime!

The best home in the Sacred Valley

Pros: So happy I found Mama Green. I initially booked only 1 week and ended up staying for a month! Super comfortable and tranquil (it’s like a little haven), a real community home vibe, the best shower on my travels so far, strong WIFI, and perfect location. You can walk 15 mins to the bus terminal or take a tuk tuk to town in 5 mins. The host is very friendly and helpful, always advising and/or joining on excursions around the Sacred Valley, we cooked good food, played music, and took part in local ceremonies that his friends hosted. Cannot recommend highly enough!
