Fantastic location for central Ayacucho

Pros: We stayed here for the very central location right off the main square and the secure car parking and it didn't disappoint. Staff were friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. It was a very convenient hotel for our short stay Ayacucho, which is a really nice town to visit.

Cons: The water wasn't always hot but that seems standard for Peru

Luxurious upgraded hotel on the Plaza de Armas

Pros: A beautiful, modern and spacious suite with a large terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas cost the grand total of $79 U.S.! Staff were delightful and parking was free. Guidebooks and previous comments about this property are out-of-date...the hotel has obviously been engaged in a major upgrade of the guest rooms elevating them to a superior, modern condition. Ayacucho is a beautiful colonial city that will inevitably be featured as an undiscovered gem for tourists.

Cons: The suites with terraces overlooking the plaza are gorgeous and great for viewing the non-stop street scene but it is noisy at night. Bring your noise cancelling headphones!
