Magic Packer Hostel

Pros: The hostel is very clean. We enjoyed the rooftop a lot, also the breakfast was nice. They offer many activities. Because of off season it was almost empty of people. The price performance is good.

Pros: Magic Parker Hostel is a beautiful place that truly feels like a work of art. The rooms are comfortable, the shower has hot water, and the breakfast is more than adequate. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and the staff are extremely helpful and kind. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Amazing room with a comfy bed. Delicious breakfast and free coca tea. Friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: -They can store bags and things for you during your trips (e.g. camino inca, etc) -The last floor has a cool common area with free hot drinks and friendly staff including a very cute chubby dog i loved. Also they have karaoke, pool and mini football. -Common bathrooms stay clean and theres toilet paper. Showers have hot water, no complain. -Staff is always friendly

Cons: -Not the fault of the hotel: A train passes by every day and its horn is very loud. However i fixed it with a pair of ear plugs

Nice hostel but noisy at night

Pros: Nice location, staff were friendly, breakfast of eggs / fruit / bread was nice. Hot showers.

Cons: All rooms look down on main reception which can be loud late at night and early in the mornings at 3/4am when people are heading out for tours. Expect restless sleep. Nowhere to hang towels to dry in rooms.

Excellent location and place to explore Cusco.

Pros: The place had a comfortable common space on the terrace. The owner Ruth was a hospitable and helpful host. The staff were helpful and friendly. The artwork was fabulous.

Pros: Friendly staff, hot water, hostel is warm, comfy beds with curtains, clean, I like the location (10 mins of walking to the main square - plus it’s flat unlike some other areas e.g. San Blas)

Cons: Bar located on the upper floor is sometimes too loud (until midnight)

Lovely hostel with amazing murals and chill vibe

Pros: Great vibe, lovely staff. This was one of our favourite hostels around the world because they provide breakfast in upstairs area and it’s a good opportunity to talk to people. The art around the hostel is stunning and each day we saw the artists at work with the wonderful murals. The place was always clean and the reception was always staffed. On my birthday they were so kind as to give me a gift and a free drink. I was quite blown away by their kindness. Breakfast was eggs (Scrambled or fried), bread, jam/butter, and hot drinks and sometimes a fruit and juice. We ended up staying about 7 nights here because it was so comfortable. I loved that they had self serve coca tea all day. It really helped us to acclimatise. The bathrooms were really clean and there was never a line. We honestly found all the staff so warm and welcoming.

Cons: We arrived at 5am and they had given our room to someone else. We found out after the staff member finally let us into our room, only to find a man already sleeping in it. The staff member took 1 hour to get us into a room (not the same that we had booked) and we could tell it wasn’t clean because there was hair and crumbs on the bed and my pillow had a bit of blood on it. It wasn’t the best way to start my birthday. However, in the morning the manager came to apologise to us and explain that the staff member was new and that they would not charge us for that night. Getting up to the 4th level when you haven’t acclimatised to the altitude can be pretty tricky!

Pros: Really quiet and comfy place to stay! For the price per night ,we extended our stay couple times… Room was comfortable! Great hot showers! You won’t see or meet many people and it’s not a party hostal… We definitely enjoyed our stay, We even left one day early and they prepared us breakfast to go in a bag!wich we really appreciated!!! Definitely recommend for a quieter hostel style!

Fun, clean, beautiful and great service!

Pros: Super clean and super cool place to be at!! The staff where super attentive and were there to help at anytime:)

Cons: We had no idea that they did room clean. We got surprised when we came back and somebody had clean our private room. Nothing major happend we were just surprised. Maybe a little heads up when we check in would of been nice. But i have nothing bad to say about this hostel!
