Basic place to stay

Pros: It's a very basic accommodation, if you know that, then this place does the work, for cheap. The hosts are very friendly and fantastic.

Very clean, comfortable beds, close to collectivo station, great value for money

Pros: Warm welcome with some tips on travelling around Cuzco, spacious room, cleanliness, comfortable bed, the presence of a kitchen (though we didn't use it), checkout at 4 am without any issue, and a nice keychain with a llama. A short walk from the centre (and there's some great Picarones place on the way), but very close to the collectivo (cheap local bus/van/car) station, which makes it convenient for travelling to/from Ollantaytambo and other town in the Valley of the Kings.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit chilly (as they tend to be all over Peru). Water temperature was dependent on the flow, so the more water you used the lower its temperature. Perhaps this could be adjusted somehow for future tourists (didn't have a chance to talk about this as we checked out in the small hours).

Recommended

Pros: Friendly hosts, quick check in, secure, quiet, WiFi okay, small kitchen, comfortable bed, 15 minutes walk from centre, cheap!

A pleasant stay in a pretty space with an excellent host.

Pros: This place checked all of our boxes: private, cozy room, shared kitchen, private bathroom, away from the noise of the city center. The host is so friendly and communicative, and she really went out of her way to help us. She printed off many documents for us when we needed it, let us use her space to bathe our baby, and when I left my electronic book by accident she informed me and made sure it got back to me. She went above and beyond what I would hope for a host. Thank you!

Close to historical centre and quite cheap but very cold inside

Pros: From Ithe hostal was easy to get on foot to historical centre and all buses, the lady owner and her daughter provided me with alle necessary informatorom about acsess to worth seeing places and they were very friendly and nice, good prize, warm shower

Cons: Extremely cold ooms and corridor 🙁

Pros: The room was very good and the staff were really friendly! We had a problem with the border crossing and were able to change our reservation, they were very understanding. They responded very quickly on whatsapp and they also let us check in very early. We could use the kitchen and laundry service. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and I would definitely recommend it!
